| Slated for his performance last week, and benched for the full 80 today. Surprising as Penrith were battered in the first half and it would have been easy to shift Moylan to 6, and bring ZH on at half time. He was originally named at RC so either he's injured or not fancied. Penrith won by the way, without Zak getting on. Can't see his NRL dream lasting long.

| Just to add Fox Sports panel have just said they recon Zak is pretty much done in the NRL. It's cut throat over here. Zak's management have totally mis-advised him and f*cked him big time.

| The way the commentators were talking about the kids coming through at Penrith makes you think he had little chance from the start. Seems to be making up numbers until the end of the season

A bit like when we signed Nathan McAvoy or Eric Anselme?

What options did his agents have??? Were other NRL queueing up for Zak??? No. Were SL clubs willing to pay a huge fee??? No. Did Leeds want him around??? Not really.

| He will get a deal in SL. Half of the clubs in SL will be in for him no doubt, Leeds won't get 100k for him though. He is still arguably the best FB in SL imo, if and when he sorts his issues out.

He wanted away because he was let down (that's how I will put it) by his Ex big time. His management first and foremost should look after his welfair and future. Show Me The Money must be f*cking deluded if they think Zak on current form and weight (not big enough for NRL) and mental state without an NRL preseason and a clear mind was gonna have a fighting chance.
I will tell you plain and simple what option his agent had.
His agent had the option to look after his client. Not f*ck him over.

He had no options at all. Zak let down by his ex...lol....you must be joking pal. The only letdown is Zak himself.
He mustve been really letdown by her to be ringing her before heading to Aus begging to get back together when he returns on Oct 5th!!!

| I cant see how anyone can write Zak off in the NRL just yet.
The NRL is a great league but lets not pretend its the NFL or even close. Sure they have greater pool of great players but it also has its share of decidedly average players of which Zak is not.
Zak could easily walk into most starting line ups in the NRL unfortunately for him he has been placed behind Moylan who is a poster boy for the panthers, NSW and the NRL so has no chance of displacing no matter how well he may do.
He needs to find another club imo.

It seems a bit strange to me why they have even bothered to bring him in at all if they are ready to write him off already. He has hardly had a fair crack yet, what is it? a couple of games? were they expecting him to come in and start tearing through teams straight away? i know the NRL is a tough league and can be cut throat but that is ridiculous. If they just needed someone to make up the numbers why not just use a youngster?
Anyway, maybe there is another NRL willing to give him the opportuninty if Penrith don't. I don't see GH getting his fee though TBH wherever he ends up, maybe best just to release him if he isn't wanted at Leeds now, especially if we have Segeyaro long term.

| I think he'll be back with his tail between his legs but Im not sure the club will want him back. Morale seems to have improved since hes been away so Im guessing he was the disruptive element all season, presumably to try and force his dream move which has come to nothing. We wont get anything like £300k for him but he could be useful in a player swap in SL, maybe clark if segayaro takes up an NRL option

| its hardly surprising he hasnt made an impression, his form this year has been dire, hes been a long way from the man of steel player of last year in both attack and defence. He should have stayed this year and then moved in the close season. Im guessing his agent was getting worried that his poor form would permanently kill off any chance at a shot in the NRL and the money that would bag them both,

If Jordan Turner can get a gig a top 8 NRL club, then there is hope for most SL players
I see what you mean though, he probably won't get the big money deal down there now.

| Where ever he ends up, I wish hime well and hope he doesn't end up being remembered as another player that wasted his talent. This season he's been a pale shadow of the player that won MoS. What ever the issues have been, the solution is in his hands, blaming the Leeds club his GF or the whatever doesn't change the fact that he's a professional sportsman and has to take responsibility for his own actions and career.
With the right attitude and showing maturity and better judgement, I'd love to see him back at Leeds.

High quality delusion there I'm afraid.
Hardaker on his form from last year would have had a chance. The 2016 Hardaker wouldn't walk into any side in the NRL, let alone most of them. He was hardly in the top half dozen full-backs in SL before he left.
He's got no options now other than to come back to Leeds with his tail between his legs. There isn't an NRL club will be prepared to meet Leeds's valuation for a player not even guaranteed to make it into first grade. Leeds won't want to sell him to another SL club

Leeds may not want to sell him, but ultimately the decision will be down to Zak whether he comes back.He may want a fresh start;I seem to remember that we had first dabs on a returning Mr Harris after he went to yawnion, but that did not materialize and the Leeds club benefited thankfully. He may just move on for a nominal fee

| Can't compare it to the Harris situation. Zak is only on loan, and like others have said it looks like he may well be back with us. The only NRL sides I can see maybe being interested are the Knights and the Titans.

This is the truth of it. His stock has gone down and IF Zak is not interested in playing for Leeds again GH will be left with a high salary earner doing nothing. No club is going to pay that fee knowing the situation so he will more than likely just be released from his contract.

You can if Zak doesn't want to come back. Harris did not want to come back also. TBH I would like him to come back because I think being exposed to NRL defensive drills and patterns he will probably come back an improved player. But that's without knowing the facts why he left in the first place.
