Start again. Clear out the old, dead wood and build from a core of young players. Few players need a dose of humility drumming into them, and a year of going round the little clubs might do that.

That was a different level of bad to the other results this season. We look completely uncoached, uninterested. Bizarre team and positional selections even within the parameters of our injuries - and we can't even say it's down to recruitment, because it's not like Cas have brought in amazing players it's just that they're actually drilled.

17,500 attendance on a Thursday night is amazing. GH should reflect that it could be a long time before he sees anything like that again.

Cas look enthused, structured and organised. Leeds looked disinterested, shambolic and clueless.

I can honestly say that is the first time iv'e watched a Leeds game and not really given a damn about the result.Once Dorn waltzed in for his second off the Gale kick untouched to make it 18-6 i could see the team had given up the ghost and again so thought i may aswell join them, nothing had changed from previous weeks infact if its possible, we looked more ragged!!

We had a couple of weeks period Hull-Hudds when the effort looked to be there and that they were still trying to fight. The players tonight barring one or two like Burrow and Lilley threw the towel in.

Nope. This is a rebuilding job that needs doing from the ground up, and it needs someone with no professional or personal attachment to the current staff to come in and do it. Maybe an experienced "football manager" to oversee the whole operation, and a coach who can deliver both structure and motivation.

You can talk about loss of training ground, 3 legends, injuries, etc. But we have enough decent players who have played the game long enough to know how to play the game. There's a definite lack of preparation and coaching in this team. On attack we're too easy to read which means that we're easier to break through in defence. I can't see where our next win will come from

When McDermott was interviewed then and Angela Powers said the effort was still there from players, instead of defending them like he usually does he did try and suggest the effort wasn't there before biting his tongue a bit and then holding back.

I feel a bit for the guy there, that was a big twos up from the players tonight after his backing from the CEO this week.He must know the writing is on the wall now
