| We need a big performance even though it should be a very winnable game no disrespect to wakey but we should be thumping them at home hopefully see some guys come back such as Mcguire, Singleton,Garbutt because we need to start picking up points if we want to even get near the top four hopefully our season might turn around

| Agreed.
I'm sorry but picking players who are clearly not 100% (Delaney) or less good than other players fit and available (Keinhorst, Walters) is not the way to win games.

| Ditto, that is pretty much the strongest team we can name, Judging by the fact that Hall and Delaney were late withdrawals last night they must have been good chance. I'd b tempted to leave Delaney for the bigger bench though and hope that fixes some of our ruck speed problems.

| Guess we will find out if there are any deeper issues on Monday, there is absolutely no reason not to see Singleton and Garbutt in the 17 after that last night if all is well in the camp.

| The result certainly makes Monday interesting, you would have before the season thought of the game as two points, but won't be easy how we are playing, we cannot really afford to lose to many more

| I wouldn't play McGuire, as desperate as we are. He hasn't even trained yet, so why risk possibly extending the injury? Let's go through another game to make sure. Regardless of injuries, or who you are playing, I would always look to rotate a third of the squad over the Easter weekend. I would rest Cuthbertson.

I agree and if the rumours are incorrect then Singleton and Galloway will surely play?

| .Subject to full fitness of others I would rest Ferries and maybe Cuthbo too. However Garbutt and Singo will have to step up their tackling to replace them. Would be interesting to see Lilley partner Burrow if Mags is not ready yet. If Mags is fit then we should try him with Lilley as we need an alternative pivot as McGuire will obviously be closely marked.

Agree, I would like to see Garbutt, Singleton and Baldwinson all in the 17 on Monday. We have another game on Friday and need to rotate the squad round now more than ever.

| I think resting players is a great idea, at least 5 from your regular team would sound about right.

I think rotating the squad a little will give us the best chance of winning both games. Having the same players play 3 games in 8 days is a big ask.

| Garbut, Singleton and Achurch in the squad so off the naughty step. Hall, McGuire, Delaney and Abblett injured.
No doubt Lilley will warm the bench again and Ferres will do another 80 with Burrow being his usual ineffective self.
If we can't beat Wakefield at home even without McGuire we really are in trouble.

| Worst WBSLR team and weakest squad by some distance who also happen to be disadvantaged by their short 3 day turnaround, and no doubt delighted to have earned 2 points over the Easter period. Leeds also get to play them at home. Couldn't have been arranged at a more beneficial and fortuitous time for Leeds.
Leeds therefore to win comfortably (OK, the scoreline might be something like 50-24) and all the knee-jerk artistes on this forum to steady their knees and feel all warm and fuzzy and fine and dandy about the team finally on course (which would have been the same feeling had Leeds scraped a 14-12 win at Cas a few days ago instead).
Leeds by 26.
IMMHO of course.
The quality and intensity will be dreadful though.

| Quote ="William Eve":29zkkam5Worst WBSLR team and weakest squad by some distance
Think your twelve month out there William old boy. Though I'd agree that we probably do still have the thinest squad in SL which I suppose equates to the weakest I think the gap you are suggesting is no longer that big and closing all the time.
The addition of England, Moore, Arona and Anthony Tupou to the squad had helped a lot plus those who did perform last year such as Ashurst and Simon continue to do so. The return to form of Kirmond will also start to tell as the season goes on. However the real boost has come from the emergence from the junior ranks of Tom Johnstone, Max Jowitt and to a lesser degree Chris Anakin. They have brought a freshness and enthusiasm to the club that only young players can. Our biggest weakness remains our half backs, with Finn who is functional and Miller who frustrates at every moment which is bad enough but we have nothing in reserve if either gets worse or injured.
Not claiming we are world beaters and we will be bottom four but bottom is by no means a certainty. I expect a fairly easy win for you, but then you are champions playing at home so I'd expect an easy win for you against most teams.
PS: You don't fancy swapping Jones Bishop for one of your young halves do you? I suppose not
