| Maybe if he was hitting the ball running instead of standing still we'd see a difference?

I don't think he's been terrible so far. Makes some hard yards, gets through plenty of defence, has been caught flat-footed around the ruck a fair few times but that's a common problem for us when there isn't a more mobile defender - in other words a hooker - around there to firm things up. Galloway's not Jamie Peacock but he's not Ben Cross either.

| Tackles fine, and effort, but God does he run it in like a bum. Mullaley looked like Sam Burgess tonight compared to him.

| I'll judge him properly when he has a proper hooker to work with.
To think some under appreciated Aiton last year.

| Drops the ball a lot, doesn't run hard enough. Hope he's not another Ben Cross. Thought Mullally looked good though.

| Runs like he's wearing concrete boots, an hasn't brought any fire to the front row yet but it's early days and some Aussies take time to settle. I wouldn't be writing him off just yet, but the coach does need to tell him to up his game as one of the senior pros.

| He's totally playing like he did at the Tigers. Solid not spectacular. He's always been a plodder, he will get better on dry tracks.
Anyone who expects anything else doesn't know the player.
Don't try and watch Corrie on your microwave then whinge about it not working.

| Lets see how he plays with an actual hooker before he gets written off...
Same with people blaming our halves, the service from DH has been frankly awful and im hoping that is the main reason our attack has been such a flop
Anyone who has had to play with a hooker you know wont throw perfect passes knows that you naturally start to hesitate to stop yourself from making the error

| Agree with other comments, needs a proper hooker. I almost fell off the sofa when Lilley was awarded MOM. Some of his passing was criminal. That said Cuthbo and Singleton were running hard and making good yards.

| Agreed, I'm not gonna bag out Lilley, he was never Man of the Match.
Did he not fall over at the ball lol. Made me chuckle in what was a horrible game to watch.

| I thought he's done alright so far. I think he regularly makes decent metres, is hard to knock back, takes several defenders in the tackle and hits fairly hard too.
As Sgt Wilko said, solid, not spectacular. But I think you'll get consistently solid performances from him.

| I thought he lacked go forward and made a couple of fundamental errors against Huddersfield. Never the less, I feel it is bit early to be writing off just yet

agree with this. He will go ok and get better as the season goes on.

| i think he has started ok, gets through the graft. He is obviously a no frills prop up the jumper style total opposite to Cuthbertson but not sure we need a team of front rowers tossing it around anyway.I expect him to improve with s proper hooker to work with and dryer tracks. The big problem here too is a lot of people expecting him to take over from JP but he was a freak once in a generation front row able to carry a pack on his own,the majority of forwards look average in comparison.

| He certainly hasn't impressed the way Cuthbo or Garbutt did....but maybe it's because he has arrived into a 'different team' ....(was he a ever a 'pack leader' down under?)
With the loss of our freak prop, Peacock, and rule changes, you might consider our esteemed coach has even LESS excuse for not using his bloody sub forwards.

| Agree with everyone saying give him a chance.
He moved countries to join a treble winning team but has been stuck in to a total make shift mid table looking one at the moment with absolutely no direction or leadership.
I'm sure he will improve as we do

| He is a meat and potatoes prop, experienced and solid. With cuthbo playing football, garbutt and singo banging in as younger props, think he will balance it out well in time. Last night was grim stuff but overall the younger guys who have played less minutes looked better than the established group, which includes Galloway. May have been bit of post wcc, post Catalan fatigue on show, which may also have contributed to moon hamstring injury (may not). As others said doubt he has ever played without a hooker before and frankly our whole middle is as disjointed as could be imagined at top level.
