Next Tuesday (the 10th), our clubs greatest ever player will be a guest on Colin Murray's show on Talk Sport radio.

The show airs between 10am and 1pm.

Does anyone know when his first Yorkshire game at HQ will be? I wona go down and watch. Make sure they're looking after him, tell him i still love him etc etc.

Does anyone know if matches from the championship are showed on any TV programme. ? A highlights show ?

On Friday 27th November, Kevin Sinfield MBE will make his home debut here at Headingley Carnegie Stadium for Yorkshire Carnegie. It will be a historic night for Kevin and the club and as a fantastic supporter of the Rhinos and of Kevin, it would be great if you could support Kevin on this special night.

Anyone else going?

This was the plan all along to get Rhino supporters in to watching the bore fest provided by Y.C , i for one have no intention of falling for their marketing ploy . Sinny will be remembered by me as the fantastic RUGBY LEAGUE player/captain he was not as a marketing ploy for the Tykes , Carnegie , Leeds , Yorkshire or whatever they are called next week .

Just remember if they ever do make it at the highest level that will be when they take the likes of Hall and Watkins , i strongly suggest we do not give them the support to do that

I was a charidy do in York on Thursday when John Bentley got Kev on stage and exclusively revealed the date of his debut. Bentley then implored everyone to get down to Headingley and asked for a cheer if you were attending. To silence.

Oh.

Hopefully by February he will have had enough of that cr*p and be ready to captain us in the World club Challenge

If it hadn't been for the link with Carnegie, the scorer of the winning try in the Grand Final would probably have never pulled on a Rhinos shirt.

Course, you'll be able to remind me of all those players that the Union side "took" from the Rhinos when they were last in the top flight, won't you?

Even if it is part of the plan, that Sir Kev might attract a few Rhinos fans through the gates to watch Yorkshire Carnegie, where's the harm? No one's having a gun held to their head, it is not in the Rugby League Fans charter that we have to hate Union. We just have to recognise it for the inferior code of the game that it is

i actually said make it at the highest level not just being in the highest level , oh and by the way my mum could have scored the winning grand final try . Mark my words if Union ever becomes strong in the North of England , be that in 5 , 10 , 15 or 20 years it will be the end of Rugby League . Sam Burgess has done great p.r job for League by showing up Union for what it really is .

Both are great games in their own right and people should get off their high horse in declaring one code better than the other. Two different sports -two different types of players/teams and both exciting to wch in their own way

It's called having a preference and expressing it as an opinion. Still legal and acceptable in polite society last time I checked.

I'm fine with people preferring one code over the other. It's when they come up with all sorts of conspiracy theory nonsense which just isn't borne out by facts that I start to wonder what planet they're on.

The idea that Carnegie are somehow anything other than a benefit to the Rhinos is ridiculous.

I'm not claiming that Carnegie aren't a benefit, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's ridiculous to think otherwise. IIRC it wasn't that long ago the Rhinos were effectively subsidising Carnegie with payments from us to them?

I know it never would have happen ,but I wonder what kind of game would have evolved if the RFU had allowed broken time payments before the split?
