I think it's a great idea, 20 years after making his debut on the Headingley turf he is going to play his last game on it.

I'd have no problem whatsoever with Ali suiting up one last time if he wanted to.

Regardless of what happens next year, it's a new era for us. This game is a nice way of marking the end of it. I have no problem with a few past stars and a few future ones getting a chance to pull the Jersey on.

Hell if Barry Mac or Brian fancied a stint I'd let em.

Can't blame him for wanting to play his last game on a quality occasion with a quality team

It was going to be Ali, Mozza and JP as of about two weeks ago. Obviously things have changed.

this happens in sports in USA when a player has made his name at a club and becomes a legend and moves on they sometimes come back on a one day contract ,but not actually play ,but retire as a Philly etc.Mozza is retiring as a Rhino.That'll wind em up over there

Ive had my tickets since it was announced, obviously didn't know back then the significance of this game, farewell to Kylie, Sinny and JP, treble winners etc but this just tops of an already unbelievable season as a Rhinos fan. Best yet in my 20 years as a supporter easily!

Do we know why JP isn't playing? I can certainly understand it though. He has gone out on the biggest stage maybe that's how he wants to finish

Not too sure on Delaney playing he looks completely busted up now. Was reading he was struggling to even walk day before the grand final.

Fair enough. There will probably be others with knocks, we could bring in Baldwinson or Mulhern (if Morley can play, they can). In the backs we have Keith Senior as back-up.

Who says he won't? Even if he doesn't in reality any potential first teamers would benefit missing this game and starting their rehab fo next year.
