| How will the lads come back from a weekend at Wembley and a few celebratory drinks? Great to see they were all back in training on Monday which doesn't seem many hangovers.
Heard that Burrow got a knock on Saturday, hopefully it's not too bad. hardaker got a very big gash in his leg but that should be all stitched up and ok. Wouldn't mind Robbie Ward getting a game after his impressive performance vs FC. I expect keinhorst to come back in too.
Hardaker
Briscoe Watkins Moon Hall
Sinfield McGuire
Garbutt R Ward/Burrow Peacock
S Ward Ablett
Cuthbertson
Keinhorst Leulaui Delaney Singleton
Achurch Burrow/R Ward.

Briscoe
Watkins
Moon
Hall
McGuire
Burrow
Garbutt
Sinfield
Peacock
S Ward
Ablett
Cuthbertson
Delaney
R Ward
leuluai
Singleton
If Burrow is unfit I'd put same team as CCF with Achurch taking the spare bench spot

Robbie Ward wasn't overly impressive at Hull FC, he clearly demonstrated that he isn't ready for the first team yet. Got caught at dummy half too often. Will lack confidence against Saints.

| This is an opportunity to really reinforce our superiority over Saints this season, heading into the playoffs.
Strongest available team plays for me.

| Last year we fell away somewhat after the cc win. Important that this game stamps out any thoughts of that. It's not always going to be so easy and Saints will be out for revenge. Poor performance here can derail things so send out the strongest team imo.
Les Catalans can see a few rested. Hudds could also be out of it when they play us (they could also be 'in' with nothing riding on it)
Saints have also been struggling and a win against a flying leeds could give them a 2nd wind. We might see saints going out of the 4, don't give them an easy 2 points.

This!
Wouldn't it be ace if we backed up Wembley with a fantastic win against Saints!?
That will really put the cat amongst the pigeons.

| Dunno whether it's the memory of last year's collapse but this game against saints has an air of real importance about it.

| It's a big test after a massive game. If they want the LLS and a good chance at the treble they need to hit the ground running.

| I don't think we'll rest players until/unless we've secured 1st place so it'll be as strong as possible for Saints and Catalans in the next two games.

| One change to the 19 - Walters in for Robbie Ward, so looks like Burrow is good to go.

If it was just a mild quad strain then he should be ok particularly as I guess he will come off the bench again for this one.

| Really important test for both sides.
Cunningham may have been stung by the criticism from Alex Murphy who really went to town re Saints and Warrington. So I expect having had a week off they will come at us full tilt to halt a decline that might well see them drop out of the top four. They could try and match us for offloads in a or bust must win game plan.
From our point of view it is important to keep our momentum and focus for this one. The first 30 minutes will be interesting as will the last 20.

| Wembley didn't turn out to be physically taxing game so that bodes well for us and the talk was quickly onto picking up the other two prizes so the mindset seem in good nick too. Friday will largely hinge (again just like the CC semi) on if Saints' have come up with a solution to stop us scoring points against them. They've shipped a few in the Super 8's so far so they'll have to hope the week off has done them a world of good. Will be interesting to see where Wilkin plays. Quite a few Saints fans would have him in the halves at the expense of Walsh. If they stick with Walsh (and Burns) will they have enough creativity to score enough points? If Walsh plays it invites the opportunity for us to have another field day running at him when we're attacking.

| Would no one risk Handley at FB?. if it didn't go to plan we could always then move handley to the wing, briscoe to centre and then Watkins to FB?

Not in the squad for the option, but I guess your just asking the question, maybe in a later game as an option but I think his efforts under the high ball were a little suspect at times for FB in a game we should want to win and push harder for LLS rather than needing a win on the last Super 8s game.
