| Do you think Leeds will go the rest of the season unbeaten? I can't see anyone else getting close, we are a different class to the rest of the comp this year.

| Saints struggles with our style and their poor form lately gives us a chance. Hardaker has quite a nasty looking gash on his knee so if he's absent and possibly Burrow then it makes life difficult.
If we were to clinch the LLS before the final week then I'd expect a comfortable loss away to Hudds in the final round with a few rested for us.

| The good thing is that we don't need to. It will be tough on Friday and saints will be up for it. Also the hudds game will be tough.
That said, it would be a foolish move to bet against us doing the treble on current form.

| Will be interesting to see how McDermott manages the troops. Realistically there aren't many senior players available to bring in. Some of the younger lads could get some game time.
Wasn't it saints after the cup win last year with the moon red card. ?

| As always it will depend on injuries (hopefully no more, but I guess unrealistic). Leeds have been compelled to play a different way with the loss of Aiton..Peacock (or Ablett) running on the shortside being the latest successful move.
Question is can we continue to find successful ways of attacking when selecting Sinfield at dummy half and thus losing our best option at stand off. Losing Sutcliffe in addition to Aiton is stretching the options....and Leeds to date have coped fantastically.
Can it continue before the main Wigan opposition get the measure of us again? Wigan undoubtedly remain the biggest threat to the treble; I think the double is likely; the treble a massive achievement if achieved.

| Team looked more focused than last year, the only concerns at the moment are Burrow's injury and Hardakers cut leg.
We are a different proposition this year, but agree that Wigan are our main threat, just need Hudds to finish 3rd and Saints to finish 4th, for a Leeds Hudds GF

Burrow looks like no chance.
Does anyone know how Zak did his leg? If it's a bingery I would be pretty pi$$ off if I was Mac.
Could he play with it stitched? It looks pretty bad.

| The PIC from hardaker looks like its from inside the dressing room.
Could it have been from a stamp on his leg?
I do recall him struggling to get up after one tackle in the second half but haven't watched it back.

| The daft git did it when sliding on top of Briscoe after his 5th try, just caught Briscoe's boot on his knee. You can see on the last set he's shifted to the wing with a bandage on his knee that wasn't previously there before the last try.

| It's likely that there would have been a light rehab session of some sort on Sunday - bit of a swim in the hotel pool before departure probably. Yesterday maybe a review session and some video work.
Leaves today, tomorrow and Thursday to do the game planning so it's only like a Sunday-Friday turnaround would have been in a normal week.

| Threads like this are ridiculous and the team being talked up usually lose the same week someone starts asking if they can go unbeaten.
How many games did Saints go unbeaten before Leeds beat them in the GF ?

| I think we will win on Friday, lose to Catalan, win Castleford and lose to Huddersfield. If Wigan win all there games then by that we won't pick up the league leaders sheild until Huddersfield away.

I think Friday and Catalan will be the other way round, and Saints will also beat Wigan.

If we win v saints I'd send a 2nd team to les Catalans rest the likes of hardaker Watkins Sinfield McGuire JP and Cuthbertson. Les Catalans are a big strong side and the flight etc changes things a little. Rarely do teams come back without a niggle or two.
I think also it gives us a chance to give robbie ward some time in case he is needed. Ash Handley probably deserves a game when he can get it. Golding too. Perhaps even a game for Lilley.

| There's certainly an opportunity to rotate the squad a little heading into the semi-finals. I'd be tempted not to do it for the Saints or Huddersfield games though, as these are potential semi-final/Grand Final opponents.
Strongest team for those two games, put down a marker.
