Leeds have drawn the short straw in choice of venue and having to make that journey at the worst possible time. We take that on the chin. Who then decides that for the game standing tickets for Leeds fans are inflated by 25% compared to the other 3 clubs in the semis? It appears that standing prices are £20 for Saints, Warrington and Hull KR, yet we pay an extra £5 on normal match day entrance for some reason. Is it Wire being greedy, or have the RFL decided to stiff us another way for this match ?

The standing prices for both semi finalists at Headingley are both £20, which is the normal match day price for the South Stand and Western Terrace if pre purchased.

It is only Leeds out of the 4 clubs that have been charged the extra £5.

As I'm a proud Yorkshireman I usually would go for the cheapest Ticket but on this occasion when there's Terrace available I'm not happy about it but I'll spend the extra £5!

There is no logical explanation what so ever for for increasing the entrance fee by £5 for Leeds fans when all the other clubs in the semis are paying the normal admission fee of £20. Supporters of no other club will ever have paid £25 to stand for a Challenge Cup semi Final. Why the RFL deem it fair to inflate our ticket price in such a blatantly discriminatory fashion is a mystery. I am going to the RFL headquarters this week and will seek answers as to why. We must always remember that our governing body works in mysterious, devious and troubling ways. This just confirms it.

The RFL probably want the stand behind the posts full, as it is one of the stands seen on tv, so have made that cheaper.

All teams have tickets available at £20 and £25. Some have some available at £30. I believe Leeds are the only club with seats available at £20. Nothing to complain about here.

Plenty to complain about here kid. The vast majority of Leeds fans will want to stand down the side of the pitch. The vast majority want to spend £20 like the Warrington fans do for every home game. The vast majority will wonder why Hull KR fans will only be spending £20 to stand down the side at Headingley. If the RFL are so obsessed about how the game is perceived that they are prepared to overcharge already shafted Leeds fans to force them into a poxy little stand behind the sticks, that shows how sly, inconsiderate and unethical they are. Why don't they get a load of cardboard cut outs for behind the sticks and charge the Leeds fans what they are charging Hull KR, Warrington and St Helens to stand. I'll let you know what they say at the RFL, and I'll try to ignore their forked tongues as they spew forth their pathetic excuses.

Asked is there a reason why Standing is more..."Camera's are underneath us and the RFL want or are hoping more people will buy Seating Tickets so it will look full in those areas"

At the end of the day, Saints fans are being charged £20 to stand up, we are being charged £25.00. Is this fair? I don't think it is, quite the opposite. I can't understand why we've been allocated the larger terrace anyway when we will take less fans due to the location and day of the match.

The RFL know full well that those Leeds fans that are prepared to travel over the hills on a Friday night will also be prepared to the extra £5.

I honestly don't believe that the ticket hike just for Leeds fans will be enough to stop the die-hard travelling supporters from turning up and I think the RFL believe the same, whatever pathetic excuse they adhere to it.

£5 is not enough to put travelling fans off going but significant enough to substantially increase the gate revenue.

Are you trying to get a job with the RFL ? Where we are stood is absolutely nothing to do with it, and throwing a load of prices at me convinces me even more that you just don't understand we are being straight ripped off. I spoke to someone at the RFL and asked for answers from above. They gave me a stupid response like you have just done by saying we are being charged more for standing at the side of the pitch. When I pointed out that Hull KR are also standing at the side of the pitch whilst only being charged £20, the RFL employee admitted it was unfair. The RFL determined the semi final pricing and the only increase compared to a Superleague match at either stadium was an increase for Leeds fans standing on a terrace that only ever costs £20. All the other prices are irrelevant, they gave Leeds cheap seats behind the sticks for one reason only, and the hiking of prices on the terrace was for the same reason. It is a rip off, it is indefensible, and it shows once more that the RFL are happy to trample supporters under foot as long as they get what they want. What would your response be if Leeds were to start charging £25 for the South Stand on televised match nights in order to fill seats and the Western Terrace to make the crowd look bigger ?

They are pulling a similar trick at your ground. They have kept 1,000's of tickets back for the South stand so that our fans who now want to go have to be in the West stand.
By all accounts it's so that the West stand looks good on TV. The RFL really don't give a snot about the fans of this great game do they.

No pal, they don't give a snot. They are also a weak organisation when it comes to liaising with fans and giving logical, ethical reasons for their decisions. We have to pay £25 for standing on a terrace that costs £20 every game for Warrington fans. At least you only pay £20 on either the Western Terrace or the South Stand to see your game. By the way, the Marketing Director at the RFL told me we had to pay an extra £5 because we were stood down the side. Better tell him the South Stand runs right down the side of the pitch at Headingley

Charging more for away fans is disappointing
Complaining to Leeds management about them selling overpriced tickets to their own loyal fans, even more disappointing and a waste of time, they did absolutely nothing about it
