And how bad Harris is as a coach.

Why would we? Easiest game you will have all season.

Saints weren't that good. All they had to do was run fairly fast.

Salford are the QPR of Super League. I can't stand them

I bet Marwan's tweet was directed at Hock.

Salfords have some excellent individuals in that team, but what you see is what the cap was intended for. Only so many per team.

The ability stakes has to be spread out, when working with a cap. What the doctor doesn't realise is that Rugby League is a team game, and you can't be a success based on two or three. You are better of sacrificing from the top end to improve the bottom end for a club like Salford.

For every Locke, Hock, Chase, or Dobson you have, you can't expect to be winners whilst supplemented by a Griffin, a Catton Browne, or a bloody Tommy Lee.

Didn't see the game, but read enough on Twitter to gauge how poor they where.
I think we all knew Salford were worse than the belief that Marwan had in his club
No chance of a top 8 finish IMO, and fear the worst if Marwan walks away.

I think this sums it up pretty much.

Koukash is maybe just starting to realise that this project is not an overnight venture and will actually take several years of patience to come to fruition if it does at all.

Didn't see the game last night - how did Locke get on?

Poor, but to be fair he played injured by all accounts and went off second half.

Injured or not you can see why the Warriors dispensed with Locke's services - he is a turnstile in defence and offered very little going forward.

If this is the same injury he had when he joined Salford - as was suggested by the Sky team - you have to question the quality of the medical staff or the desire of player to get fit.

Playing him when injured was the crazy thing, especially when you have an able deputy in BJB. It has Probably set him back a few more games now.

Also, Dobson has a suspected dislocated shoulder and Patterson looked in trouble when he went off.It looks bleak already at Salford With an already average at best supporting cast, and loosing several of the marquee signings to long term injury so early on in the season.

So an extended run on the sidelines. I'm sure he will be crying into every ludicrous paycheck.

For some reason I really have taken a disliking to Salford, probably because of that clown in charge of them.

Absolutely. Rugby League is the ultimate team game. The sum is always greater than the parts.

Still, I get the impression there's a few posters on here that would prefer GH adopt the Koukash splash the cash approach to squad building which makes me wonder if they have had their eyes shut the last ten years or, more importantly, the previous twenty!

I am neither pro nor anti Koukash, he isn't in charge of Leeds so I don't stress over his inputs and comments. However I do hope you and others that think / want him to exit Salford are wrong / disappointed. I have 2 observations to make, the first is that Superleague and RL needs more investment if it is to thrive and grow or even hold its own in terms of supporter numbers and turnover. The second is that he seems to be skilled at driving press interest and comment about Salford in particular and the rest of RL as a result.

In my view he has a generally positive impact on the game as a whole.

I personally hope Salford do well on and off the pitch. The competition needs as many quality teams in it as possible. However, Salford look like a disjointed shambles, with the pivots they have they should be able to cause any side problems, but it seemed like nobody knew what they were supposed to be doing. Hopefully, a few more games together will see them right, but with the possible injuries, and evident lack of leaders and team spirit I can see Salford struggling this season.

Agree with that

The bad players they have are really bad and the good players they have look like they have had a handful of training sessions together

I still think Chase is a fantastic individual but doesn't really have a place in a team with others players of the same ability as him

Another problem is the attendance, less than 5000 for a home game against the champions, I'm not sure how far Koukash or anyone can take the salford club

They're desperate for a hooker. Does it say much for Liam Hood that he can't force his way into the team ahead of Tommy Lee, and Theo Vag?
