| So do we go full strength and hopefully get some much needed confidence with a dominant win full of blistering attacking play coupled with a mean defence or do we send the u19's over?

| I'd certainly rest Sinfield, JP, Watkins, Ablett and Delaney. I'd also consider resting Aiton whom has played 80 minutes twice on the bounce.

A dominant win full of blistering attacking play.......??? When was the last time we saw that?

| Exactly, surely law of averages says we are due one and if it happens to be next week then the juices might start flowing and when they get a sniff of Autumn in their nostrils strange things happen.

| Win would be a nice to have, rather than the be all and end all, after tonight surely relying on results elsewhere isn't Leeds' style...
Those that should play should be those that need form or confidence, or these where Brian Mac isn't sure. Refer to Watkins, Achurch, Singleton, S Ward.

| Gutted about Stevie Ward, had high hopes this year but I fear he will never develop into anything other than a super league journey man or a part time Championship player. Has no speed anymore and relatively small in stature.

In fairness to the guy as many have said...the incumbent coach insists in playing him in a role that does not suit his style or stature.
I am afraid we will continue to see the mis-use (or no use at all) of the promising newcomers until the old guard favourites have all retired....which of course in many (if not all) cases will be too late.
Still...we can continue to revel in the halcyon days of the glory years whilst the near future team lingers in the doldrums of SL whipping boy rabble.

| So how should we play him, too slow and no kicking game to be a stand off and too small for the back row or loose forward.

| The Hull game next week is now irrelevant. Drop all players who are carrying knocks and give them a rest.
It does not matter if we enter the play off's on a 3 game loosing streak or not.
The play off's are a brand new competition and we need to be fit for them.

| No point going with anything but a weakened team the game mean nothing except to the Cod Heads , We start with Widnes or Catalans at home . We need to go into that game at full strength and start from there , hopefully the second game will be Saints or Cas then we need to be injury free in my opinion to have a chance there on in .

Hmmm…. You seem to be missing a couple of special ingredients;
1. Big game management and leadership experience (and I mean big games not a 2 pointer affair like last night).
2. The ability to remain fit over a prolonged period.

Foster, Baldwinson and Tonks whom are unable to get into the 2 weakest teams in SL?

| Cannot see any of the guys that have been out on loan challenging for a 1st team place next season to be honest.
Keinhorst, if not signing for Wakey full time is not going to displace Moon or Watkins and the 3 guys on loan at London haven't done much by all accounts
I agree Clarkson and Ward have gone so far backwards and I can only hope that Ward benefits and kicks on from a full and injury free pre season for the first time as otherwise I fear he is going to be another 'star in the wings' that failed to fulfil his potential with us.
I cannot accept Achurch has no future. When fit I think he's been pretty good and offers a running threat out wide from a big man than we don't have elsewhere within our squad. I think he made the only break of the whole team last night?

| Achurch has problems with his concentration in defence, but generally, he looks to me to have a bucket load of talent. big, strong, quick and offers more with the ball than majority of our workman like pack. He's no Ali, but could become an excellent player for us.

Minns keinhorst Luke briscoe. Plus cuthbertson they all deserve a chance after the fringe players this year have not stepped up and taken their chance. Only sutcliffe and Walters to some extent have.

Theirs not many Ali types in the world truly brilliant player. I'd settle for a willie poaching. Manu, or even a Gareth hock(without the negative stuff) that's where we are lacking.

He does show flashes of top play at times and has had decent games but is still struggling for that consistent level. He has been with us for two years now, how long will we have to wait for his full 'potential' to materialise on a regular basis?

| Achurch to me looks lacking in confidence, but if the coach seemingly has little faith in you then confidence will be low.

| If Huddersfield win tomorrow then we cannot finish 5th so beating Hull has little importance. Therefore IMO a fully rested 1st team should have priority and so I would rest all 13 first choices plus Aiton and take no risks whatsoever for further injuries. This way the coach and medics have 2 full weeks to get the starters in good shape both physically and mentally.
We can build momentum with a good win over either Catalans or Widnes at home and then play the losers of 2nd v 3rd. (which still could be any of the teams above us who will all be going full belt for a top 4 finish next week)
So we could be in good shape to get to the semi and be every teams nightmare club call.
