| We look knackered and nearly every week now seems to be a titanic tussle, a constant frustrating struggle. You score we score, just getting control of the game? well here's a stupid knock on and poor defence, voila the opposition are back level.
Coming up we have warrington in the CC semi, then we are treated to saints at home, then in the league we have the joy of wigan away and hull away.
The games and schedule is about to get harder, and there has to be question marks about whether we will cope.
If you took our average points for and against from the first half of the season, and compared it now, I imagine you'd see a big decline.

| Good god people moan saying the competition is too easy and moan when its a contest!
Salford and cas both gave as good as they got and we have done ok to get 3 of 4 points.I thoroughly enjoyed both games and long may this continue, its how it should be.

| Enjoyed the game even though we lost. Leeds just had that little bit of extra something that saw them home. We've made vast improvements over the last month or so and we're starting to look the part, albeit a little late. I think we'll be a lot stronger next season.
Thought both sides could have won it but credit to Leeds for hanging in there.

| Leeds completion rate was 69%.
Close games aren't a problem, when teams are going set for set like often happens in the latter playoff games. But when it's close because of teams incompetence, it's just frustrating to watch.
If you're happy with that, then good for you, you're in heaven right now.

Spot on, we've had to go to Salford at a much trickier time than Saints or Wigan.
3 months ago that would probably be a 30 point gap and "proof" of SL standards slipping and a performance we'd have to dismiss as the opposition were rubbish.

| Well obviously things aren't going to get easier, they never do at this time of year for any team. We also haven't played our strongest 17 for a while and the squad as a whole should be fresher come the business end.

Hell of a lot more impressed with your guys compared to last time I watched you against wigan when I thought you looked lost.Harris seems to have had an affect and like you say, come next season you should be top fighting for the top half.

Coming from a guy who starts threads based on small runs of form the above means little. Surprised you didn't start a "this Hull team" thread after 50 mins of last nights game.

Not really.all I know is I enjoyed the game for what it was.were there mistakes? Plenty.would we win the GF playing like that? Certainly not.the game was good to watch though from where I was sitting.some nice tries, free flowing play, ebbs and flows and game in balance till the end.what more can you really ask for in a run of the mill regular round game?

I judge teams based on their patterns of play and little areas and signs in the performance, not purely on form. I championed saints and wigan when everyone was going on about leeds. Look at leeds defence, look at their points difference blah blah blah. But as the season has drawn on saints and wigan have got stronger, leeds weaker.
If anything you judge teams on small runs of form, you're still dining out on leeds decent start to the season.

Do I?
Or are you joining the pathetic small endowed gang of Gotcha, Sal and Tvoc who are living off ONE time I got it wrong and ADMITTED so ( and would've admitted so earlier of Tvoc wasn't being a child). Strange considering Gotcha first used the comparison off that website between 2012 and 2013 and Tvoc said nothing (surely nothing to do with having similar views ) and then Tvoc INCORRECTLY said BOTH years were incomplete even though they weren't,
So to sum up the whole "Printer stats" things.
I, Gotcha and Tvoc were ALL wrong there, I'm the only one whose admitted it though.
If you and others want to keep dining out on that one occasion and keep saying I'm continuously wrong with any stats I provide then so be it......be that pathetic and wrong.

Really? You're judging Saints on recent form? Granted they've managed to pick up wins but haven't look good since the Leeds win at Langtree Park (barring one result against Wigan)
P.S. You championed Saints well before people went on about Leeds, before we knocked them out of the cup they were unstoppable for both.

Can't see how you can say Saints look stronger now than at the start. They still concede a lot of points, and they haven't put a good 80 minutes together for a while. It wasn't long since they were nilled in France, and lost to Hull KR away, and it isn't long since Wigan lost away to Wakey. The facts are no matter how much anyone tries to talk up anybody's chances that there's still almost 3 months of the season to go and nobody knows who will finish where or who'll win what at this stage of the season.

| Come on guys, everybody knows we do it the "Leeds way".We take it the hardest possible route, and its the proverbial rollercoaster, enjoy it while we can, it's more satisfying when we come out on top.A competitive game, lets hope Salford can serve up more of the same for the rest of SL.

Saints season is over. Wilkin out with a shoulder injury, Hohaia out for 8 weeks, Lomax out for the season and tonight Walsh has suffered a compound fracture of the ankle and will be lucky to start next season let alone finish this one.
Wellens in the halves unless they have the bottle to throw a kid in there.

Am I that important to you? Bless.
Why this failure all the time to read someone's post? He was quite clear to you. He wasn't having a go, he wasn't bringing up your previous. He pointed out an honest statement. If you spent a little more time with an honest response, instead of this paranoia you have, you will realise it isn't that hard for all to get along. Yes, there may be different views, buts that's a way of life. You just tend to hold on to things and so insecure. Just let it go mate.
Is his point of 69% completion not valid?

On another thread I mentioned your inability to accept the opinion of others - your unprovoked insult towards me here is well out of order. Nobody is right all the time - and that includes you and it includes me. This is a message board for airing opinions not a dictatorship run by a despot.
You need to get off the high horse and realise this is a democratic board where we all have an equal input and where respect for the views of others is a must.

I am sure this was said with tongue in cheek but LeedsDave is correct. Kirke maintains the central defensive structure when Peacock is rested. Consideration should be given to restoring Clarkson which may stop some of the pathetic lapses in the middle

Pathetic small endowed group?
Right dipsh## lets get 1 thing clear I'm not part of any "gang" nor was that post a reference to any previous stats right or wrong or are you paranoid?
Whenever there are conflicting opinions the first thing you bring up is either what happened 2/3 years ago or bring stats into the debate now like I said a 69% completion rate must be a concern given the emphasis you put on those stats no?
All this he said she said bollox isn't relevant I don't give a flying one what you or anyone else got right/wrong stat wise it was a comment purely on last nights game.

It may not suit your agenda, but to expect anything other than grinding out results at this stage of the season is a little silly. The early season surge proves Leeds can cut it against the other big clubs at their best - but it was never going to be feasible to maintain this across the duration of the season without risking burnout in the play-offs. I'd imagine we'll see a different Leeds side turn up in these more important games, especially the CC semi, but of course there's no guarantee we'll win these matches, such is the nature of sport. Why can't you just accept this, enjoy it as it unfolds, and stop obsessing over predicting the future?

| Does anyone else think that Aiton doesn't quite fit the Rhinos mould? At the start of the season I thought he'd do well but since his return he's looked a little out of his depth. In the last couple of games he's made crucially the wrong decision.
