Strong rumour coming out of the Wildcats that GH working on a player swop deal, which will see Jason Poore and Paul Aiton to Headingley. Not sure who will be going the other way but I hope it is the old guard and not the young guns!! we also need 2 pivots from somewhere in my view.

It was Kirmond and Aiton last week for Clarkson ,Moore ,Kirke and £££ i can see this changing every week with Kath there now.

I would take that. But not sure about Poore, unless Bailey is going other way.

I reckon we'll send Wilson, Mason, Fox and maybe one of the Rayne borthers.

Hopefully, we'll get a really pacy fullback and tough as teak scrum half in return.

Anyway, regardless, I hope we get Aiton. He's a good hooker and lord knows we need one. I'd be honestly happy for a McShane/Kirke swap for those two.

H-Aiton is a weak defender imo just as bad if not worse than Mcshane yes he is nippy around the ruck and his distribution is better than Burrows there but i dont think he's the quality 9 we need.

He's a much better organiser and a far superior player with ball in hand to McShane though. His defence has never stood out as weak to me either but ill admit I haven't paid too much attention to that side of his game. Either way, it can't be any worse than Burrow's who often becomes a relative passenger when we don't have the ball.

Both props...who enjoy the notoriety, probably have alot in common.

Wakefield fans seem to have the opposite view: that he's a tireless defender and strong runner who can't pass. Haven't seen enough of him to know who's right, but that's what I've consistently read.

Rather well I suspect. Although I suspect their antics might become a shade tiresome both to the fans and their team-mates.

Regards Paul Aiton's defence - according to Opta - he has made 949 tackles and missed 37 which results in a 96% tackle success rate for this season.

Only one Leeds player can match a 96% tackle success rate in the SL Regular Rounds this year and that was Jamie Jones-Buchanan. Paul McShane scored 94% and Burrow (although in no way playing a comparable defensive role) scored 93%

Poore and Aiton to Leeds on less money in exchange for two bags of salt and vinegar crisps and a 2-ltr bottle of dandelion & burdoch.

Conway has better feet and more pace but Wilson is the stronger defender. If only you could combine the two.

You can't beat Seabrooks! Although, the areal Criap Company's Roast Ox flavour are a big favours rite of mine too! Never cared for Ben Shaws though.

Real Jalapeno Pepper flavour aren't too shabby either!

From what i've seen he leaves big gaps and mis-reads the play defensively ala Watkins/Ablett shooting out of the line would that count as a missed tackle?
As for with the ball H not sure i've seen Aiton do as many good things as Mcshane has both creating trys with cut out passes/kicks or for himself close to the line.
Be interesting to see if he gets more 10/15 minute spells ,unused sub or dropped when we lose IF he arrives.

Given the positions those two play then the most likely to be leaving are Moore and McShane IF this rumour is true.

Sign aiton, give him the number 9 shirt. Give him 5 minute cameos every 3 or 4 weeks. Persist with burrow/sinfield, even when carrying injuries.

Unfortunatley I think we we were to sign Aiton then we would see this type of frustrating rotation at 9....MacShane can do the same job as that
