Vickery is trialing for centre i believe so why would they put him on the wing?

Not sure that is the case. They are looking at him for cover across the back and now they have Moon it is not necessarily a Centre they need.
Chisolm will still be at Carneige so they need some one for the wing.

Dont forget Vickery is also untested so I doubt they will put him at FB to start with either, although he might get a run there during the game at some point. IMO of course

As you say, with Moon now signed and with Ablett and Hardaker for centre cover we look well set there so he will probably have to have a storming pre season to get a deal.

I think Leeds will offer him a 12 month deal anyway - if not for his Rugby, it will be just to keep Achurch company in his house so he doesn't get home sick. Its not unheard of!!

I would be very surprised if McGuire plays on Boxing Day.

It's only a marketing ploy to get all us saps to buy tickets for the game.
I say "us saps" because I bought my tickets yesterday.
I also took a look at the new pitch & believe that the new posts are as tall as the old ones.

Maybe, but I don't think that Mcguire playing would be the one factor which effects wither a fan goes or not, which is why it would seem odd he would specifically say he was looking forward to playing for the first time in 6 years or so, just for it to be a 'marketing ploy.'

Josh is having an op next week

Stevie Ward has had both his shoulders sorted out since the Grand Final and has even had the local Gildersome/Morley lad and current Bolton Wanderers physio Dave Dean check them both over for good measure too

Stevie will be fit and ready to play when the season starts but it will be up to Mac and the backroom staff when they decide to play him

W55ARE- Moon said he was playing Boxing day during his interview when he joined.
I haven't listed Ward and missed Sunley been injured so that leaves room for Briscoe plus if Kylie is training i'd expect him to play unless again we play another youngster.

I'm not fussed who plays tbh, as long as there's an out of tune, out of time instrument we'll win.

It'll be worth it just to see the new pitch.
If you don't like the prices, don't go.
It really is as simple as that.

There were 9000 there last year and considering there is very few games over the next few months £20 isn't a big deal.

I think its worth it alone to see the young talent coming through
