Mrs Diablo is off to London, so I will be at home with Diablo Jr.

Hopefully I will watch on telly if Diablo Jr decides to allow this.

Half way House Ashton New Rd for a couple of Pints at 11am. City v Sunderland at Eastlands 12.45. Marble Arch Rochdale Rd for a couple of pre GF pints. Down to the Rags Stadium for the big one. Come on Rhinos. Home about midnight I reckon.

Drive up from Notts. May meet a few mates from back home near the ground. Drive home

Get there nice an early, around six o'clock on Friday should do it.
Friday night out. Pub food around midday on the Saturday and visit a few bars. More food and drink. Match. Out in Manchester. Drive home Sunday afternoon. Eleventh GF in a row for me

All you can eat Buffet Breakfast at The Village hotel Morley at 8am, Then a drive over to our luxurious abode for the evening The Salford Etap Hotel


Then a tram into the city where we will congregate in the Paramount Bar which is always a lively spot on GF day

i'm going to Old Trafford on a big yellow double decker bus

My driver will collect me mid afternoon, he's just informed me that he has another engagement after lunch and so we may be delayed slightly but we hope to be in the ground in time to see some unheard of popular music beat combo failing which they'll just have to delay the start until we have taken our rather expensive seats.

Queeswood Social Club for a breakfast beer - coach to OT - watch game - watch Sinny do that thing where he shakes the trophy over his head - back on coach - more beer.

It's my 23rd Birthday on the day, so beer beer and more beer, the game, then the same again after it, preferably with something else to celebrate!

Skyrack, official coach, couple of drinks around the ground somewhere, few drinks in the ground. Done. My 32nd Sunday so hoping for something else to celebrate.

Coming down from Cumbria...drinking places for Rhinos fans around OT?

We normally end up in sam platts but you can get the odd "Bell" turn up .

Griffin Head -> Nelson Arms -> picked up by ones driver -> Old Trafford -> Griffin Head

Park up at the Railway club as always. Food & Drinks in there for a while then have a walk to Sam Platts.
Although if it's bloody rammed and full of idiots throwing beer at each other again I won't bother.

Not a Rhino fan but will be in premier in Oldtrafford Friday 4.00pm ish few deinks on the night then saturday up all you can eat breakfast wonder round shoppoing centre with wife in the bar by 12 and start to soak up the day hopefully some good rugby banter and general rugby chat with other fans and then watch the game from the east stand as a neutral

Stopping at home with the Missus this year, she's treating me to a Gaucho's steak takeaway while we watch it on TV.

Lovely stuff.

Leave home around 5:00pm, and walk to a local pub

Go out and get absolutely smashed at about 12.

Leave around 3 for more drinking on the coach.

Drink around the stadium.

In the stadium for about 5.30, take my seat next to Jerry Chicken, be loud and abusive and probably be sick on him.

Alcohol Consumption Guidelines 2012

The agreed policy for the Super League Grand Final on Saturday 6 October 2012 to be held at Old Trafford is as follows:

1. Alcohol may be served in the concourse areas from entry up to and including ten minutes after half time.

2. Individuals will be permitted to purchase two drinks at a time.

3. All cans will be decanted. Bottles may be served with tops removed.

4. Drinking in the bowl, in view of the game will not be permitted. Clear signage and stewarding will be used to reinforce this regulation.

5. Alcohol may be served in executive areas throughout the event provided they are not consumed in the view of general spectators (in the bowl).

6. The police have agreed to the sale of bottles and will monitor the situation with a view to imposing the requirement for decanting if necessary.

7. It is accepted by both the Police and Stadium Safety that this is not a designated sporting event and that the imposition of these ground regulations require sensitive application.

I know, a very annoying rule. I don't really understand why us good natured and well behaved RL fans are trusted to behave (and usually do) at Wembley, but not at OT.
Being able to drink in the stands at Wembley enabled avoidance of the packed bars, and getting into the stadium early, to sit in the stands with a beer. Worth the extra 50p a pint or whatever it was.

Only two bottles per person aswel?!

Oh well, I guess that's enough for one for the person that's buying, and one for the birthday drink they'll be buying me!
