Leeds only won by 9 points against an awful Wigan team. This was after being gifted 3 tries by the ref and being gifted tries by shocking individual errors from Wigan players. Well done Leeds for the win and getting to the final but it was hardly a dominant performance. Wigan certainly will not play that badly all season and Leeds will be very lucky to get such generous decisions again. Leeds played about as good as they can where as Wigan were at about 40%, and thats being generous, and still scored 28 points. Todays win just papered over the cracks for Leeds.

Dont be silly, Leeds deserved their win and played better. However do not kid yourselves. The Wigan 'performance' was a shambles from start to finish and due to refereeing and individual errors we chased the game from start to finish. We were simply awful with a completion rate of only 60% and did not deserve to win. Despite this though Leeds only won by 9 points. Everything went in Leeds favour today and that will almost certainly not happen again the next time the two teams meet. If Wigan had played Warrington today they would have lost by 40 points.

Leeds' finishing in the second half was pretty poor and our defence in the first half was pretty poor so it was hardly Leeds playing to their potential. We have spent the last 2 seasons papering over the cracks, having said that, if we win a trophy every year for the next 3 or 4 years whilst continuing to paper over thos cracks I can live with that....

You were dominated plain and simple. Well done for scoring lots of points when playing badly. Hiding behind refereeing decisions is the act of a desperate man. If anything that game just showed the cracks that can appear when Wigan are put under pressure. You could get a bus through some of them.

Some Wigan supporters take arrogance to a higher level. Well done Leeds on knocking them back down to Earth.

I understand you are happy getting to the final but dont get carried away on the back of 1 game against a team that was woeful and didnt turn up. If a bus was driving though our defence it was certainly driving through yours when it was making its return journey. I dont think anyone is hiding behind refereeing decisions and I am yet to meet a Wigan fan that didnt think we were awful today, we didnt deserve to win in the slightest. It is undeniable though that the referee didnt exactly help in this regard and he gifted Leeds 3 tries and this meant that Wigan were chasing the game. I can understand Leeds fans being ecstatic on getting to the final but if they watch that performance back on another day I think they will see it differently and it certainly was not a great one from Leeds.

Its fairly obvious to me from your comments that Leeds only just scraped home as winners because of a poor performance from the referee and the Wigan players, we didn't win so much as we were gifted the game, according to those quotes anyway.
