| why when i went in to get my seat for the manley game i was told it had been sold. i pointed out i had renewed weeks back and i should get first chance of buying it.
they said it was an RFL event not a rhinos event so tough.
i spoke to rogues, our resident wigan fan, who tells me they had weeks to book there own seat last year before they went on sale, RFL event or not.
i'll now watch on sky in the warm.

| Wigan 2011 season ticket holders will have a priority purchase period to secure their seat. With tickets going on sale from 9am on Monday November 15 until noon on Saturday November 27 2010. Tickets will then go on general sale from Monday November 29 2010.
thanks mate.

| It's probably because there's only a limited number of seats at Headingley and the RFL will want a certain number. At Wigan there was probably enough seats to still guarantee season ticket holders their seats while giving the RFL their share.

| its the principle.
£325 a year means you get first chance for all games, except it seems the WCC.
the, its an RFL game arguement is bull because it was last year too, and wigan fans were given first chance.
it's why you buy a season ticket, especially a seat

| But it's not a home Leeds rhinos game, its an RFL game. As a Leeds season ticket holder you are allowed an advance period in which to secure a ticket just not the same seat you sit in for Leeds home games. Since its an RFL event I don't see it as unreasonable for the RFL to want some seating, and as I said seating is limited at Headingley.

| Prawn sandwich brigade????
Obviously you've never met the bloke or you wouldn't post such bollox.
When someone pays for a ST and one of the ST "ADVANTAGES" is described as priority on all "non SL tickets" then he has a valid point especially as the club have seen fit to sell the seat without warning who it may effect.
Also when you consider ££££ he's spent on travel to away games ,refreshments at home games etc it would be beneficial and courteous for the club to at the very least warn those who would reasonably expect their seats to be available for this game.

| jesus, prawn sandwich brigade? what a dick
these clever nobs are yet to explain why last years game was a RFL game yet wigan fans were given first chance to get there normal seats.
the simple fact is its GH grabbing money as per normal.
he even made a load of money out of holding a massive RL charity event. the guy who organised it was fuming.

| As I stated on a another thread I went up to get my WCC tickets on Wednesday at 9 a.m. I was there early as I'd read that no seating would be reserved only to be told (after I'd renewed my season ticket) that I couldn't get our usual seats because they had been taken for players wives, families and friends etc. I was also told it wasn't a Leeds decision but an RFL one. I know they have got to sit somewhere but preferably not in my seat!!!
Not only had Garry got my season ticket money a week early but I had to change where I normally sit. So apologies Tad if I've got your seats.

| Tad has an absolute right to be outraged about this. As ridiculous as it may sound, sports fans in stadiums up and down the country are very protective about where they sit. It was only the other day I came across a bloke who’s sat in the same seat for Elland Road home matches for 28 years. Try telling him that he can’t sit where he usually sits if Leeds United ever get into Europe again.
Personally I don’t mind where I watch the game as long as I get to watch the game. But this doesn’t mean that it’s the same for everyone and that’s got to be respected. Especially when an individual has put in time and money into watching the game from a certain part of the stadium.

| But season ticket holders do have a priority on non-SL tickets, they can get them before the general public do.
And as I said, no doubt Wigan had the same or more allocation of tickets given over to the RFL but Wigan have 25,000 seats whereas Leeds have about 6,000? seats.

| has anyone one thought that the rules may have changed from last year to this year? Could be that simple. There are far fewer seats available this year and the RFL usually have a large bank of them sectioned off for corporate guests. So that means there has to be a shuffle around.
Lets not forget Wigan is an all seater and a lot of the better seats there will have already been corporate seats for Wigan matches. You cant make the corporate guests stand up on the western terrace!

Yes Wigan do, but it is only two stands that are reserved seating at Wigan (East and West) The North and South are unreserved as you would know if you have been to Wigan. To not give the Leeds fans the "option" of claiming their own seats is wrong.
