| We all know Burrows would have played with Sinfield had he been fit a well established half back pair, would have torn Wales to shreds and topped 60pts. Theres no communication with these two. Australia will high light these weaknesses nd tear us apart in attack and defence

| We all know if it was Sinfield at 6, Maguire at 7 and Burrows from the bench as reserve hooker, england would have torn Wales several new one's and topped 100pts and cured whole world of cancer and poverty in the process. Australia will high light these weaknesses nd tear us apart in attack and defence un less we fill side wiv rhinos players.

| I am starting to get the impression that Steve McNamara will be reluctant to make changes to the starting line up at all for next week. If things were going to be changed he would surely have done it after the stop-start performance against France, but now that the same starting 17 have beaten Wales fairly convincingly, will he meddle with a "winning" team at all?
Personally I would have Widdop alongside Sinny in the half-back positions to start against Australia, drop Chase and have Bailey on the bench to add some IMPACT and mix things with the Aussies. Now that would be good to watch!

| Watched the game again...Sinfield did actually make one break He deserves to keep his place on that basis alone. Chase and Widdop have no chance of playing any better at SO. Why was Brough not considered for SH ??
We're gonna stuff the Aussies by sticking to the old tried and tested Sinfields, Peacocks and Morleys of this world. JJB and Wilkins off the bench must be giving the Aussies nightmares too

Bob the builder would have and should have had a good game against Wales.
Again I like JJB and he is an important integral part of the Leeds team....but off the bench against the top Aussies ?? Really.

| Quite comical to see chase try and sing the national anthem with no pride or passion, you could see it in his eyes he was dying to burst into the hakka that would have been the only good thing he would have accomplished with sincerity

He was probably confused and wondering why everyone was singing the British national anthem.

It was an omen to bring back the GB side ....and to stop all this embarrasing nonsense of there being more than one UK representative team worth playing in any tournament.

| If you name a squad without a scrum half in it then expect the half backs to look unbalanced
Btw "God save the Queen" is the national anthem of New Zealand

Almost.
[iGod Save the Queen[/i is a national anthem of New Zealand.
Anyway, Brough at 7 for me.
And get a kicking game into the bargain.

So you are proposing replacing a mobile 2nd row to cover out wide with a slow prop? Mmm strange logic.
JJB did ok and is a sound defender with a football brain, has the stamina to play for most of the game, will be one of the first up for a kick chase, has good hands and makes breaks. OK he is not the biggest but is as good a 2nd row as we have available.
Whereas Bailey is a prop who is a good tackler around the ruck (but no better than JJB and not able to make as many tackles) but has little else to offer as a 2nd row.
I would play Widdop at centre in place of Yeaman and have another forward on the bench. Either a big prop in which case that would have to be Carvel or another mobile 2nd row and that would be Ablett.

Where did I mention MY choice would be Bailey ??
The inclusion of Ablett would no doubt strike fear into the Aussies' hearts.

| For me the talk of dropping JJB is a strange one, for me the worst forward through the two international performances has been wilkin, and I would suggest he should be making way for someone else on the bench.

| I'm not sure I'd make any changes. Widdop in the centres maybe, but I wouldn't add another prop, as I think they'd be under-utilised.
If we were to drop Wilkin, we'd probably have to go with Ablett, and I don't think we gain a great deal more from that

good post not bias in anyway, having a half back and a loose forward from the team that finished 5th in the league over man of steel and another established half back is a fantastic idea.
