what did you want him to say? he's been rubbish and we won,t miss him?

Could be a sad ending to a great Leeds career.

Its a tough one. I'd really love to see Keith wear the blue and amber again. He is still a massive threat with ball in hand, its players getting around him that hasn't been good enough imo.

If at all possible I think that he will try to continue.
His dream is to get to 600 career games.
Not sure that it will be with us though.
Hetherington has shown loyalty in the past though.

He'll be back in the blue and Amber next season.

It's is a tough one. I too would love to see him in blue and Amber again, but I think that is based on his past glories and memories rather than current times.

What a shame Watkins is injured. Would've been a big opportunity for him.

I don't know about that, a few times this season he has ripped it up down the left flank like his golden says. Maybe the break will do him good.

I hope this isn't going to be the way Senior's career ends. He deserves better but I suppose its punishment from those rugby gods for selling all his losers medals on ebay.

Which makes little sense but is typical of what we have come to expect from him, although on this occasion it's equally possible the website has f**ked up the quote.

I expect Senior will be back and I expect he will be back at Leeds. Having previously stated this should be his last season at Leeds, this injury ironically, could give him another.

Just shocked to find out he's human afterall and can sustain damage like the rest of us mere mortals.

Can't really remember him having a particulary long lay off due to injury before.

The longest absence was the season ending ankle injury he picked up courtesy of Joe Vagana the week before the 2005 Challenge Cup Final (although he still played (at least attempted to play) despite the injury in the final.) After the final he missed the remaining 5 games of the season but returned the following year with another ever-present run.

An omen perhaps if he's looking for one.

The only other significant absence (beyond being on International duty or being rested) was a four game stretch in 2001 - I'll research the cause of that and report back shortly.

Edit: The 2001 injury absence was caused by a broken thumb picked up in the away defeat at Wigan - 23rd March.

I hope he is not being serious, yeah he has been a great servant and all, but surely this is time to cut ties.

I would say that we should maybe stop moaning about his form now. If he's still playing and he shouldn't be, then that's not his fault and it's a credit to the guy for still wanting to play every week. Now it does look all over, but if he gets fit and the club still want him, then that's not his fault either (unless he really does have some "photos" of GH in a safe somewhere

).
