'" Magnificent. 200 metres as well.
In a week where I suggested he was the best winger in the league he did little to prove me wrong against top quality opposition.

| Whilst we're on stats...
tvoc... This one is totally redundant now, but how many successful conversions was Sinnie on prior to his miss on Friday? By my reckoning (which is often wrong so I'm prepared for that!) he didn't miss a single kick against Crusaders, and only missed pretty early on in the Cas match. IIRC Henry Paul has the longest run of successful conversions but I can't remember how many!? 20ish?
Any chance we can have some Sinfield goal kicking stats? Starting from, say, Easter?

| The Sinfield miss after the 1st Zak Hardaker try was his first in 17 attempts - 16 representing his best run of the season so far.
The record (I think - and I could well be wrong as it's only from memory) is jointly held by Henry Paul and Hazem El Masri on or around the 35 mark.

Hardaker had Burrow on the inside of him too. Could've easily improved the angle for Sir Kev.
Didn't realise the record was so high. Pretty impressive that!!

I seem to remember the contest for most consective succesful kicks at goal being between two bulldogs, one from batley and the other from canterbury (as already noted)

Physically - probably not, mentally though? Eaton kicked 38 apparently and probably holds the record outright .... in the Championship.
__________
Sinfield's best run of successful kicks for Leeds started 26th May 2009 (Home to Hull FC) and ended one month later to the day (Home to Bradford.)
He kicked 25 straight (or round the corner) with the run both starting and finishing with the 2nd conversion attempts.

| The stats back up what I thought on the night, which was that Carl Ablett was criminally overlooked for man of the match.
It's a shame almost that McGuire's return will send him back to being a wide running second rower, as I think Leeds are starting to see the best out of him in the run of games he's had at loose forward. His awareness to retrieve a loose ball then pop the little pass up to Buderus for the break that led to Hardaker's second showed what a quick thinking player he is. Very rare you ever see him take the wrong option, irrespective of what position he's playing in.

& he seems to have cut out giving away those silly penalties.
Surprised Rhinos Bucs not been on to praise Kirkes efforts this week.
Is it time to bag Kylie for his poor workrate in defence, only 9 tackles?

I agree he is a much under rated player who has a good all round game. However JJB, Peacock and Buderus has better stats with Buderus having the major influence and IMO should have been MOM

You neglect to tell us where he appears in the tackle count table.
Would it be churlish to point out that Bailey was "rested" again.
Bailey will have to watch out, the amount of rugby he's played this season he'll burn himself out.

Stats tell you about quantity, not quality and impact.
You have to watch and understand the game for that.
