Not sure how Rob Burrow got the Stevo Headscratch Award for MoM. Defence decent, but his kicking was poor and ball in hand he was like a vortex where the ball disappeared never to be seen again.

McShane did well - the Buderus/McShane rotation makes more sense than Buderus/Diskin ever did.

Burrow got the MOTM because he's one of Stevo's favourites.

If all our forwards played like ablett and delaney we wouldn't have had to watch the shambles we have at times this year. Shame that 2 of our best back rowers are having to spend so much time in the centre. That position must be a priority for 2012

Far better decision to spell Buderus and McShane in 25 minute spells than to bring McShane on after 50 minutes.

McShane was good tonight and alternated well with Buderus. When was the last time both hookers got a try for Leeds in the same match I wonder?

Good to see the hooker rotation policy actually being effective....two styles that actually complement each other and change the game. McShane's kicking game means I would also not be afraid to rotate him with Burrow (how the heck did he get MOM ?) too.

Was impressed with his play tonight and he does have a good kicking game. I have been unimpressed with burrow all year but I thought he played better tonight. Still don't know how he won MOM but did look a little better.

I'm in total agreement with you. Of the two Ablett is the better centre and Delaney the better second rower. I still see Ablett's best position as LF.

On the basis that Watkins does take the LC position we still need that RC position filling with a more permanent option.

Fantastic effort last night from McShane really sparked Leeds change in tempo last night when he came on an made good yards from dummy half to put Leeds on the front foot.

I seem to remember pre season BMD comments regarding mcshane having lotsof natural tallent but challenged him to improve body shape fitness. I think he looks more trim and as a result more fitness without losing any power
