| First game I've been able to see this year so here's my attempt at some rational reaction:
Firstly we only drew - it feels like a loss but we didn't and had we taken our chances we'd have been way further ahead. There are quite a lot of positives to take away even if our players seemed to lose the plot in the last 15mins.
Lima on Clarkson - Absolute f**king disgrace - the guy targeted the leg while the player was held with no attempt to hold/grab the player...no need at all the game is tough enough. To be frank I'm so cross about that that it's taken the edge of the shock of throwing away the win - it pales into insignificance compared to my feelings for Lima.
Senior got ripped apart at the end - he was really shown up for pace twice (both times by Farrell?) - it's a real worry. I've a lot of time for Keith who has been arguably SL greatest player but if his pace has gone it's gone and nothing will bring it back - he's not a Gidley type centre who can get away without it. Does this leave us with two centres in the squad who should only be in the team if they're going to play in the SR? On the plus side Ablett on the other hand was the best centre on the pitch!

You really can't see the difference between a cheap shot attempt to injure a player and a big shot can you
And yet I bet you wet yourself like the rest of your fans about McGuire's little shove and Ablett's mistimed challenge last year

I went thinking 18 point defeat minimum. We have too many injuries, and a lack of form.
Came away thinking that without our two best players, without the rub of the green, three or four refereeing decisions that went against us that 9 times out of ten go our way, and against some very dubious, some pretty cowardly and classless tactics, and we for 70 minutes embarrassed the supposed best team in the comp who were going to blow away all challengers this year.
We play like that for the rest of the season we wont lose another game.
And we did this without Mcguire and Peacock. BM may show a few people up this season. I cant be unhappy with a draw, well done lads

Do ignore this clown.
Whilst I agree the Lima tackle wasn't great, in my opinion it was dealt with rightly. The tackle started above the knee and the momentum from the other two tacklers dragged it down. A sin bin was the correct decision, although its probably going to go further.
What we saw tonight was two great team play out a great draw. Neither time had 100% respect for possession and in the end that was the difference. Leeds may feel hard done by, but Wigan outplayed the Rhino's in the final quarter of an hour. A draw was about right in the end, although I will agree that Leeds were throughout the far better side.

Senior for 70 minutes found his form of 2 or 3 years ago, he was fantastic. We put that first half together again, i dont care who we are playing, we will have put the game to bed by half time.
But he did tire, and we struggled when they threw the ball about, but we had a few carrying injuries and had lost Cross to the Wigan tactics.
On another day Wigan wouldnt have kept up with us. We deserved the Win. But Wigan can and will be better and lose, and we will be worse and win.

| Many predicted a good hiding for us tonight but we showed we still have some quality and can still threaten the so called superior teams.
In the end whilst disappointed we only drew the old adage "the game lasts for 80 minutes" rings true and we just did'nt do quite enough to put the game out their reach.
A thrilling game and plenty of positives for the Rhinos to build on.

That's the most sensical part of your post.
Those of you calling for Lima's head, I hope you noted the totally unwarranted punch from Buderus at one of the second half play the balls, as well as that cowardly off-the-ball high shot by (I think) Bailey (the one where he ran in nowhere near the ball and tried to elbow one of the Wigan players in the face, early doors of the second half).
Both should have been red-card offences.
As with Wigan-Warrington, a future clash with two fully fit sides will be a cracker.

I'll take his power, guile and ability to read a game, particularly in defence, over a lack of pace over 10 metres. He's got plenty still once over the first ten, and still faster than most. Tomkins got outside him at the end, but Tomkinds gets outside most.
All in all, a better display than predicted by many tonight. Too early to either condemn or anoint the team yet, but with Mcguire and Peacock to come back I reckon we'll be in the action come the business end of the season.

Well, duh, they were being smacked around by the opposition. I read a fair bit last week about how it wasn't Warrington that were good, but Wigan that were bad. Sometimes, no, most of the time, how well you play is a direct result of how well your opposition play.

You don't think it'll be a cracker? Fine, but if you managed to scrape a draw thanks to us not having a goal kicker and think you'll go without losing another game all year, you're crazy.
I'm not saying you won't, but just based on tonight's match it's a ridiculous thing to expect.
