| No pack go-forward at all.
As has been traditional on stat threads, I'll ask "where would we be without Peacock?"
Oh...

| One of the reasons for a lack of go forward is a slow PTB which means the defence is set. We are not fighting to get up quickly as Saints were doing.
When you look at the team stat comparisons Saints made almost the same metres with 34 fewer carries and 13 more runs from dummy half while we made only one clean break. Their defence was outstanding and together with our defensive errors provided the platform for their win.
Errors and a lack of attacking/general kicks continue to be a problem.

| Buderus and Watkins both missed 4 tackles which some might say tells one story about the hookers poor tackling. When you take into account that Buderus made the most tackles of any Leeds player on the night (2icon_cool.gif including at least one where he prevented a try by holding the Saints player up over the line, and that he had a period off the field, then it puts a slightly different slant on things.
Still those with agendas will see what they want to see I suppose...

Discussing performance isn't tiresome. Discussing Leeds CEO's past decisions and posters viewpoints of those calls at the time much less so, especially when the discussions have been rehashed several times previously.
Who was it that found Broughton's performance V Wigan worthy of comment (it weren't me as I hadn't seen the game), the interest appeared to wane once the stats were produced. Another impressive set at the weekend. Of course without full footage the stats are only ever indicative of a good performance rather than proof of one.
Ambler, Amor and others current performance remains interesting, to me if no-one else. I'd have included Gibson's here also if he'd have played at the weekend. I'm open to suggestions for other players to include on request.
The stats for Amor appear impressive also. Should be eligible for a recall now he's completed a month on loan should Leeds wish to avail themselves of that opportunity.

Interested to see Ambler's and Amor's stats - thanks for including them. Amor's stats indeed look impressive but, with props returned and returning, him staying at Wakefield may be no bad thing for him, for Wakefield and for Leeds long term.

One might expect a hooker to make more tackles than a centre wouldn't one?
If one simply comments that Buderus has missed the same amount of tackles as Watkins it's hardly an agenda. Merely stating a fact. That someone might want to mitigate Buderus' misses without doing the same for Watkins is a clear sign of agenda. Hero worship one might say.

I never said I made no comment now did I? I responded to your post. It's what we tend to do around here, similar to holding a conversation only (on our own terms) and without the awkward pauses. The important part surely here is who brings us back to the ex-Leeds starlet? The first mention I can recall of Broughton this season was from you with your 'PS' on a completely unrelated topic as linked to above and then shortly after there was the : 'hey Gaddafi' post here, viewtopic.php?f=17&t=485957&p=15929664 where at least you were candid enough to flag up your intention in advance.
If you know of an earlier exchange (this season and preferably one I actually instigated) then perhaps you'll provide the link to it.

You can see the difference I assume? You did find Broughton's performance worthy of comment, you appear to continue to do so. I never claimed you were the first one to comment upon it. That seems to be a new qualification you've introduced.
For a subject you apparantly tire of when your opinion is challenged (I don't claim to tire of it) you;re posting about it an awful lot.

You did find Broughton's performance worthy of comment, you appear to continue to do so. I never claimed you were the first one to comment upon it. That seems to be a new qualification you've introduced.'"
There is no movement of any significance from me here.
You commented first re Broughton this season (to end a response to one of my posts, on a completely unconnected reply I made and on an unconnected topic) to which ( =#FF0000and only to which) I responded. Did you think for one mili-second I would be so discourteous as to ignore you? I thought we had an understanding.
Quote ="G1"For a subject you apparantly tire of when your opinion is challenged (I don't claim to tire of it) you;re posting about it an awful lot.'"
Yet only it appears in response to you. I don't tire of discussing RL generally, only dim and distant past decisions the Leeds club made when they've been covered repeatedly and in depth many, many times before.
Quote ="G1" Thanks. I note you're the first poster to bring up Broughton's Wigan display on that thread. Certainly an example of you finding it worthy of comment, despite your denial.'"
You're welcome. 'On that thread' being the relevant observation. Without =#FF0000your interest in Broughton I'd have remained blissfully unaware at just how consistently impressive his 'go forward/involvement' remains.

| And Buderus is a far superior hooker than donkey Diskin.

| Quote ="G1"One might expect a hooker to make more tackles than a centre wouldn't one?
If one simply comments that Buderus has missed the same amount of tackles as Watkins it's hardly an agenda. Merely stating a fact. That someone might want to mitigate Buderus' misses without doing the same for Watkins is a clear sign of agenda. Hero worship one might say.'"
It could be perceived as "Hero worship" but only if the constant, but subtle, criticism of Buderus was acknowledged as "an agenda".
I'm a bit too old for Hero Worship, but it seems that others are not too old for schoolyard agendas.

Work them out, I may watch the game back to see for myself and get back to you. Oh, and just to give you a helping hand... the "B" stands for Burrow.'"
Right, I got the first one to be "How Many Owls Does Burrow Keep?". I've watched it back and it doesn't say.
The second one was much trickier but I eventually I got that it was obviously "How Many Leeds Senior Players Do Burrow And Keith Have Blowouts With?". I've watched it carefully. I wouldn't want to give you an exact number in case the cameras missed a few but Robbie gets pretty angry with someone at one point so it's at least 1!
