We picked up a few injuries against Hull FC, Webb Ablett and Delaney all didnt come back on after getting injured, but the players all did brilliant to keep the win in their hands. If they are all out, I would like to think that Ryan Bailey and Ali Lauitiiti are both back, I would like us to give a chance to Paul McShane against Harlequins. I would go:

Tempting I agree but the wrong call IMO. I think it would have the opposite effect. You can do all the training in the world but the only thing that will get you "match fit" is a match. I think he needs to get used to playing 80 minutes, and the team need to get used to having him on for 80 minutes.

Not knowing enough about Liam Hood...would anyone say his style complemented McShanes's ?? Enough so to try the two-hooker rotation successfully ? I would then put him in there at the expense of Kirke or Pitts.

I must say, however, I am still more inclined to allow Buderus further opportunity to continue inspiring his team to another morale boosting victory as the sole 80 minute hooker.

All those who are still endorsing the Ambler move to Harlequins....would you say Kirke, Pitts and Cross are all better options for Leeds at this stage ? With the long known, long term absence of Peacock (and avoiding the questionable recruitement of a 32 year old Aussie prop) he would have/should have had every opportunity to establish himself with regular selection in the first team 17 (IMO).

First home game of the season there will be no resting of players! If players do need resting 2 games into the season we are up $hit creek! if you rest players in SL expect to get beat. Quins are in form with all their players buzzing. This is a potential banana skin. nothing but all troops on deck on their game will do to get the points.

Harlequinns should be dealt with like any other top superleague club, we play the best team we have. All players should be expecting to play at least 20 games a season, it's what they are paid to do, no one should be rested unless they are injured, if we want players to build form we can't rest them to try and 'save' them for bigger games. If anything, it will disrupt their form and make them worse imo. I would even know playing for my local side, when you get in your stride the last thing you want is to be rested, you want to go out and continue your form.

2 games into the season and people are talking about 'resting' players
