Not even got a serason ticket this year. Nice to know that the gear is good though.

I've got one. Yeah, pretty impressed actually. More so because I don't recall any of the stuff being advertised? Normally anything you're getting "free" is rammed down your throat so it was a nice surprise.

You get a desk top calender (with your name on interestingly enough! Although it's only on the front page which you'll throw away, but still, the thought is nice!), a keyring with a torch (which is surprisingly light weight!), and a portable radio with the Rhinos logo on.

None of it is what you'd call top notch quality merchandise (actually I've broken the headphones of the radio already) but still, it was "free" and unexpected so overall pretty impressed.

Hope the DVD isn't as awful as last years.

So the Gold Membership is free?

As long as that journo and Barrie Mc don't ramble on for what seems like days, I will see that as an improvement.



The concept behind the DVD is always lame. They generally only show trys from the games we WIN. Pathetic. If you were to show the nuts and crannies from every round of the season, then it would have earnt the right to call itself a Season In REVIEW dvd and would be a much more appealing watch.

I put "Free", not free. (In fact, I did that especially for you!!) Free in the sense that it comes with another service which you're paying money for. You know... the way you get a "free" pen with a puzzle magazine. You're happy to pay the price of the magazine without the pen. Thus making the pen, not free, but "free". Do try and spot to subtle difference.

So yes then.

At least this years will be shorter if nothing else!

& more importantly than all those.... Your actual membership card is GOLD! (Well, it's gold in colour, not gold in material. Which I was a little disappointed with!)

I haven't ever used any of the benefits in the past (apart from the obvious admiring of the GOLD card) but it was a toss up between upgrading myself and the other half or lighting my cigar with a £50.

So what is the other service you get?
For the first time this year, we have gone down to silver. The card holder last year was pap, and the year before the 'exclusive' gold member scarf that was 'free' they were selling for a fiver to the folks using the GF coaches.

The main reason reason I get the Gold Membership is for access to the cafe. I would buy the handbook if not given to us, so that saves £5.
Anything else is a bonus. Looks like the club gave us some extra we were not expecting when we paid our £25 and people are still not happy!!!
