I feel for the bloke, especially re his Grand Final rings - must be devastating having something like that stolen. I wonder if in scenarios like this the RFL will replace them? Granted, not the same as having the originals, but it'd be something at least.

I don't think that's really fair. Jealousy may prevent some of the Saints speccies from allowing themselves to publicly appreciate TMFMISL's contributions, but I don't think for a minute any would find the theft of his Grand Final winners rings amusing.
