Thats my view, I think our players are going to struggle with the speed of the play the balls in this years 4 nations if we have an Australian referee. it was refreshing to see the tacklers get the player on the ground, hold for 2 seconds then release.

The NRL has improved this year as a spectacle where as SL has declined due to the ridiculous play the balls.

Not seen a replay of the game yet, but just got back from the game, I actually thought the first half was a poor spectacle, Parramatta were shocking IMO.

Great second half though, one thing is for sure the NRL certainly show us up for how they present the game, the whole day, entertainment, build up etc etc gave a real sense of occasion, although having said that it does help that the game has got a massive profile, the build up over the last two weeks has been immense.

It doesn't help that players such as Jon Wilkin constantly devalue the play off system in the media & thus feeding the negativity which some RL fans enjoy spreading about SL / RL constantly.

If the players built up the game which gives them a living in the media it would create good feeling within the games fans and not give some an excuse to knock things we should get behind. The Grand Final, i feel, has been an excellent end to the season since it's ineption as the way of deciding the champions.

I don't agree with gagging players true feelings, but Wilkin has been a regular moaner since 2007 when Leeds won the GF, he only made his feelings public then.

The discussion is (or ought to be) whether Leeds or St Helens would best represent the RFL against the NRL's Melbourne Storm.

Past history would suggest there is only one winner in that contest.

The discussion shouldn't take place at all.

Neither club will be representing the RFL. They will be representing themselves.

There's no argument about which club would be best because the club that wins Saturday will be the club that should be playing.

Of course they will also be representing themselves as well as the RFL and the Super League competition they play in.
