surely it is a dispensable offence for a sportsman to so it. There where children in the stand for hecks sake!

The RFL should PUNISH him!

Firstly, the fact that you don't really know what gesture, if any, he made, means it shouldn't warrant any action.
Secondly, even if he did, so f***ing what? He was abused constantly throughout the game (nice to see that racist chanting is alive and well, the travelling community are still fair game....perhaps if he spends too long on the sunbed people can shout p*** or n*****r at him? Thought not). If he decides to gesture, it isn't particularly clever and, yes, in an ideal world, wouldn't happen, but believe you me, I'm more concerned about the influence many of the parents in the SS have on the kids than any Sean Long may have (it's like a 'Supernanny' highlight reel at times).
Why are people so precious? We had a close, cracking game of RL with controversy, some superb play, aggression in spades and a big, noisy crowd. Stop calling for people to be reported, cited etc.

A few people where chanting nasty things to him, he gets paid as a professional member of the sport and he swore at the stand with family's in. Utterly shameful.

I heard someone shouting about eye patches and pirates but thankfully not that last night!!

I suspect it is a reference to the oh sooo hilarious chant that some of our support came up with, from memory, on our last visit to KR.

Can't remember hearing owt like that but then again I'm usually to busy calling Wellens a 'slap head' or 'baldy baldy fullback'.

Taking the rip out of opponents is part and parcel of the game but suggesting that a player is a paedophile is going way too far.

We were singing ‘he’s got a pineapple on his ‘ed…’ to Long but that’s about the extent of it, suggesting that a player is a sexual deviant is going well overboard.

We do have, without question, the most unoriginal and uninspired 'singing section' in SL (if that stupid JP song and copying Wigan's 'greatest team in the world' one is the best they can do need I say more?).

I know which one they mean, and IIRC there was a thread on here at the time with your fans not happy with what some fans had been singing and rightly so.

Everyone was actually chanting Gypo and he gave a thumbs up sign which , even though I can do with him , I thought was a good gesture under the circumstances
