At last week's game, whilst we were behind, a bloke who stands behind me railed at Sinfield for the whole time. 'Get some captaincy done, Sinfield!' was the main theme of his insane rantings.

Well, I hope he watched yesterday and realises the error of his ways.

He is the best captain Leeds has ever had, and he may also be the most-under-rated player we've ever had.

david ward was a great captain, didn't have the best team at the time, but won back to back challenge cups against the odds. and the premiership final the following year from eighth place with half a team injured.

Last week Sinny's own game was below par for him. He was not helped by a Leeds team, who in the first half performed like headless chickens, but as Captain, it's his responsibilty to get it sorted out there on the pitch.
