Not really seen much of the Reserve Academy (or whatever they are called these days) apart from a game at Stanningley and a couple of curtain-raisers.
What kind of prop is he, mobile? go forward? powers-house?

He's a powerful lad, hits hard and likes to off-load and he's more of a second rower who can play prop imo.
Once he settles in i'd expect him to cover both and allow jjb to stay in the back-row!

Something we may be missing is a good 'off-loading' prop – when I watch Shirley Crabtree for the Giants, he always seems to make the hard yards then 60% of the time pops out an off load.
We'll have to see how he gets on.

I work with someone who is wakey fan & when I told her this morning she says he is a really tough prop & hardworking & a good signing - might now make Bailey work hard

That's the big thing mate hopefully he'll be given time to settle in by some of our fans!
We need to remember he's still only 19 and just moved here so the enviroment will be completely different to the one at wakey.

I think it'll add a bit of depth and competition for places and imo that could signal the end of worrall's career at the rhinos.

He'll need time has you say, good attitude and hard working with good passing skills, he's also very aggressive in a controlled manner.
Good lad, look after him.
Whoops, sorry i'm supposed to say he's cack and you've bought a pudding

I'm sure he'll settle in and live up to his potential and prove to be a good signing!
On a different note will you lot be bringing the youngsters to the floodlit 9's again???
Really enjoyed it last year and your boys were 1 of the stand out teams.

| This may sound like a bit of a dumb question, and it is not meant to be a criticism, but what about our own academy side?
By all accounts we have signed some good talent this year, but are we not developing props and centres ourselves?
ps Can the Vodafone Warrirors have Rob Burrow for next year please. Stacey Jones has just been, well, not as good as we hoped...

Its not a dumb question, but can be answered by the way the club operates. Not that I am saying the club is wrong.
The club firmly believe that a player is not up to super league until he is past 20, especially applying this to the forwards.
They beleive they have a good batch of players coming through, but these players on the age basis are two years away. Therefore they needed to plug the gap.
Pitts is a very good player by the way.

I saw that article aswell!!!
I think the "dual registration" will help next year as there'll be more opportunity for the youngsters to play at a higher level than the reserve league.

| Pretty exciting times at the Rhinos.
If Amor and Pitts continue to develop to Blueys expectations then we will have a very fierce front row. If these two are as hard hitting and powerful as everybody is making out then a front row of, Peacock and Kylie with Amor and Pitts on the bench will just be awesome. Add to that L.Burgess who is continuing to improve every season.

Nothing he's still at hull on loan.
One of the posters on here knows him personally and he was never part of any deal for pitts!

Yes, the dual registration may help.
Although, even though I did say "not that the club are wrong", I do not agree with that policy. You can tend to be focused just one way like that, and miss out on an exceptional youngster playing at the highest standard at an early age.
Holding back is not always the right way. As long as the club are not too strict to it, and keep an open mind, then it is not a problem.

| Bringing in Ambler, Coady, Amor, Pitts from other clubs certainly makes a change. It's usually us supplying youth for all the other teams

| Good signing.
He's never a prop though, he's an out and out back rower IMO. I think he could be Worrell's replacement.
