| I would like to introduce a positive topic if that is ok with everyone?
I thought the away following last night was simply outstanding in the way it got behind the team. I think going into the game as underdogs brought the best out of the fans in general and to a man, woman & child, everyone remained positive and sang and cheered their hearts out... even more so when we went 14 points down!
I think that the positive, never say never, attitude of the fans made a huge difference to the lads and should give themselves a pat on the back for their efforts in helping the lads win the game.
Well done everyone!

| Sky evidence says otherwise. 14-0 and they showed a row of glum faces, people checking mobile phones and others packing the Capri sun back into the lidl bag.

| I agree. I want to say well done to the main body of our fans who really did get behind the team. Not only did it lift the boys, it also lifted me. Maybe because I'm getting old and have seen it a few too many times in the past, but when we went 12 points down, I didn't feel much like singing. Luckily, others did, and once they started, I couldn't help but join in. It made for a really special night.

Sorry that it did not come over on Sky but Sam Buca is correct, when the players game back behind the sticks to re-group the whole stand stood and sang... FACT!

| Well, one of the Leeds fans I was with wanted to leave the pub and go home went we went 14 nil down. Shameful. I was right behind the lads all the way, except when I was at the bar or at the loo.

| There was a real buzz in the stand last night - one that I don't think I've felt since the 2005 play-off match at St Helens.

| It was one of the best away games I've been too.
Atmosphere last night was great and like bramleyrhino says, what a buzz. Was great to hear everyone standing, singing and getting behind the lads.
Top effort

| Yup, fantastic support all game from the away regiment last night. Tis funny as i was having a conversation with "the mighty" white ace before the game that if we could all unite behind the lads in one group effort what a racket we could make.
Be careful what you wish for eh?
Kudos all round.

| I was watching it at home but it felt as nervous as a Grand Final. I think it was an all or nothing performance. Had we have come away with a defeat it would have been hard to reach that level next week.

| Brilliant support last night. We were forced into a drop-out at what I think was 12-0 down, and the vocal support the players got was something special.
I heard very few negative comments last night, which is quite refreshing.

| The attendance was given as less than 10000 which suprised me for such a big game. Is that a fair reflection or were there more there and if it was how does that reflect on supporters attitudes to the play offs?
Is it because Wigan couldn't go straight into the Final as would be the case in previous play offs or do supporters feel that the new system is simply a money making exercise for the clubs?

At least 12k there, thought that's what the attendance was given as?
But yeh, always going to be lower due to being on TV, not a knockout for either team and not being on the season ticket.
OT slightly but how poor was the home crowd at the hudds game? Looked appauling on TV.

5689 at the 'pharm on Saturday. Estimates seem to be that there were 600-700 Crusaders fans.

| There were at least 12000 on last night. The 3rd best away support, in terms of volume and size that anyone's brought this year after Saints and Wire. Good going.

Cheers
Was impressed last night, walking round the stadium with about 35mins to go before kick off, there was the odd one or two wearing Blue & Amber and was expecting a small following. I was wrong (as i was to write Leeds off ) Superb atmosphere and i love how the majority of us (for the second week running) refused to leave until we had clapped all our players off the field.

| It's surprising how easy it is to get a decent atmosphere when everyone keeps telling you that your team is a load of rubbish and has no chance.
That's a bit like we felt in the Challenge Cup semi final this year and although we lost it was a great place to be for the bulk of the 80 minutes.

| well i am very pleased to say that i was loud and proud last night!! it was by far one of the best away games i have been to for atmosphere. when leeds arent doing as well as they can and the crowd gets behind them i have noticed afew times that the lads lift and start playing better. i know it can sometimes be hard to sing and shout but i think it gives our boys a massive boost and i wish everyone would sing like that at every match!!!

That’s typical Leeds for you. As a city we’re at our best when facing the odds and backs against the walls!
