Why on earth would Perth appoint Burgess over Arthur. I get that he is a bigger name but you simply can't take that sort of risk on an unproven Head Coach for a brand new club that needs to hit the ground running. If Burgess gets the job I'd immediately question the quality of their administration and decision making.
Because it would be Burgess assistant and Meninga head as a team, and there is no doubting big Mal's credentials.
