Sivo did not look good at all, I wouldn't be surprised if its a long lay off - hopefully not. I think Arther will stick with Ash in the Centres and use Riley Lumb on the wing who I thought looked good when he came on. We are certainly fitter than this point last year and we restricted a veery good Wigan pack for metres, we certainly look better equipped in the forwards this year. As much as it caused a bit of a stir The Jake Connor signing could be a bit of a master stroke if he can get some consistency out of him, he looks to be enjoying his rugby again. Jack Sinfield doing stints at 9 isn't a bad call either, it gets him game time and in fairness he looks to have bulked up a bit and wasn't getting dominated in defence. In terms of covering the loss of Sivo. I’d imagine Lumb gets first go. Once Miller is back we could put Handley back on the wing and Jake in the centre. Also thought Jack went well at 9 and he might get a little run there while Jarrod is out.

Don`t think it`s been mentioned but I was disappointed with the crowd of around 5500. When you would think at least 10000 would be there. I`m sure that was down to the weather compared to the Saturday and Monday it was horrendous. Shame Handley suffers financially as a result.

Testimonials and friendlies have always attracted poor crowds (other than Boxing Day).

Good to see Pete Smith giving young O'Connor a chance of being ready for round one. Would be a timely boost.
