I would suggest Palasia would be the 8 he spoke of. He wants to be a starter and a why he left broncos, not that he had much chance at the titans. If anyone has any doubts, watch him in last year's NRL grand final. His last major injury was also 2020.

Watkins makes a lot of sense. Not sure I’d be too interested in anyone one else. Maybe sneyd if nothing else it’ll let Sinfield go on a proper loan.

No chance Frawley goes - BA likes/rates him and made him captain for a game last season. If we go for anyone it will be Watkins IMO.

We currently bat deep at half back (Croft, Frawley, Connor, Sinfield) but we're light in the 2nd row, which is a far more attritional position. Watkins makes more sense, and if anybody is well positioned to strike a deal it would be Blease.
