I saw that reported we asked Smith about Jenkins which struck me as quite odd because Jenkins did not play for Norths when Smith was there.

I hope we can stop carping on about Martin leaving. He's a good player and very good kicker, and if we had a better set of props it would have been great if he stayed. But he's gone, and that freed up a much-needed quota spot. All the best to him at Rovers - definitely one of our best ever imports.

A fantastic servant to the club and a very popular player behind the scenes by all accounts but yeah, we move on unfortunately.
