Kevin Dick was Andy Gregory before andy Gregory thought of it.
Kevin seemed to punch Andy Gregory on the blindside at the first scrum as a matter of course, it was as expected as kicking off.
Produced some great big match performances, think his best 2 were both at Fartown, in 79 premiership final where he gave the finest all round kicking display I think I’ve ever seen and won Harry Sunderland trophy and the year later where he did something similar to Hull KR in Yorkshire cup final.
When Phil Caplan introduced him he started going on about nicknames, and said he was known as the “Iron Teddy Bear”, I’ve never heard that one , can anyone else recall it?
