I've rated Houghton a long time. He's a very worthy MOS when you consider his week in week out contribution.

Who were the 3 nominated? I have avoided all RL since last Wednesday as been busy and didn't get chance to see the semis and the MPG until yesterday. Anyway, BBC made some hint to who the three nominees were - I figured Houghton and Solomona were two. Thinking Gidley was maybe the third..?

Gareth Ellis finished 2nd behind Houghton. Solomona was 3rd.

Ah so it was Ellis. Thanks! They mentioned Ellis in the coverage but wasn't clear if they were saying he 'would have been the only of the three have been nominated before' or that they were just generally talking about him before saying 'none of the three have been nominated before'.
