What a ride..

The high point for me was the Leeds and St Helens rivalry during the late naughties with countless crunching tackles from Kylie Leuluai along with that hit from Ryan Bailey on Maurie Fa'asavalu. You just don't seem to get that intensity between two teams in the game over here at the moment. Even Wigan and St Helens seems like another game these days rather than something special.

My favorite Leeds partnership was Ryan Hall and Keith Senior who were formidable in attack. The club has been blessed with wingers and when the likes of Tonie Carroll, Scott Donald, Joel Moon, Mark Calderwood and countless others wearing Blue and Amber.

Funniest moment by far was Jordan Tansey at Millennium Magic closely followed by that Tony Clubb kick in last years Grand Final. Robbie Pauls knock on in the 04 Grand Final..

Low points for Leeds: Dean Lance era, Tony Smith 06, Early McDermott & now.

Overall Super League has entertained me but of late its become more of a chore so I'm watching less and less games. I enjoyed Cas style of play when they were in top over the past couple of years but even that is starting to wane in 2016.

Yep when your clubs in a fix its easy to fall out with the game . But please after 6 games your having a laugh. Get a grip.

Nothing really to do with Leeds more to do with the quality on offer for some time. Some great memories there and the observation that even the Wigan/St Helens rivalry is just another game really speaks volumes as to the current state of the game in the UK.

Thankfully there's another comp available to remind supporters how good RL still is when administered, coached and played correctly.

It could be said the quality last season was poor and that's why you managed the treble. It's everything to do with the form of Leeds otherwise your board would be full of praise for your super dooper team, and wouldn't give a hoot for the state of the game ,

It's been poor for years to be fair but you play the field you're on, look at the challenge cup game last year - sat at the front of Wembley watching that game and the only thing I was really interested in come half time was us hitting 50 on a terrible KR side.

The league leaders game was entertaining due to the whole helicopter thing and the Ryan Hall try turning the game in the dying seconds, true entertainment. I was at the coast when that was played and nobody surrounding me could understand me diving up and yelling at the TV when McGuire drilled that kick towards the wing for Hall to scoop up and take the spoils.

The grand final I also enjoyed, it was a tense affair although as I was in the stadium I'm not sure how exciting it was for the neutral sat at home watching it.

This year I've not seen anything even half as entertaining as some of the games last season... There is however, still time for it all to change.

My favorite game this year was one where we actually lost against Warrington so its not all about winning every game for me. Widnes vs Wigan was good for obvious reasons too..

Also I think you'll find many on here care about the state of the game regardless of what Leeds Rhinos are up to. Last year we had several threads on here on the VT debating amateur clubs set ups etc.
