No I am not kidding, yes we have won the last 2 years but in different circumstances, we now have serious injuries to PEACOCK, ABLETT, WARD, McGUIRE, WATKINS, and BJB, KYLIE is nearly 36 and cannot do long minutes, BAILEY, HALL, MOON, SINFIELD, HARDAKER and McSHANE are out of form, BURROW is out of position, VICKERY should not be in the team at all and just out !!!, MOORE, CLARKSON and KIRKE are not good enough , the only bright lights are DELANEY and JJB for effort and guts, and the two new kids SINGLETON and SUTCLIFFE who have been brilliant over the last two weeks.
We are not going to get stronger as the season goes on, that is a fact.

Lets face it PEACOCK and MAGS could have career ending injuries!!!

Surely we should give youth its head, I for one would like to see us follow the old adage, you have to speculate to accumulate!!!

Are you referring to Hall or Watkins? From what I hear the latter is far more likely to be targeted by NRL sides than Hall.

What a great performance tonight against Widnes!!! injuries have forced the use of our young guns, who all played great, they were exciting to watch and were well led by the senior players who were fantastic, setting a brilliant example to the new boys. It was really good to see the blend of enthusiasm and experience, it reminded me of the 60's when Leeds first became successful under Roy Francis with a group of brilliant local lads, led by the experience of Harry Poole and co.
We may not win SL this year with the senior players out, but the experience gained by our young players will set us up for success in the years to come.
Finally how good it was tonight to see players playing in position, McShane and Burrow, with a proper stand off.
