His kicking was Sinfield-sublime, but I remember (maybe mis-guidedly...I have just turned 50

) the captain for the day making two long distance clear breaks with just a finely executed or simple pass to make two tries a formality: on both he failed.

I think with the one where he failed to pass to Chisholm he was desperately trying to give Vickery a hat-trick.

Very possibly..... there was nothing really at stake.

Bailey (a hopeless go-forward prop better in the back row) should have kept his successful winding up abilities up his sleeve and used them on Poore in a more important match.

One of the highlights of the game was watching the quality of those breaks, Danny looked sharp and elusive, to bust up the middle of the field without a single finger being laid on him was a joy to watch.
There was a confidence around that team, and i liked it.

Hopefully with a full pre season, he will be on form and can stay free from injury. Fantastic player.
