Its to be expected I suppose, I think we've all been embarassed by drunkards travelling to France with similar definitions of "banter" to yours, I suppose we just have to accept that you think its funny because you've drunk so much that your normal standards of decency are flung out of the window and you become a sexist yob.

Take a 7 day break for that. Try not to get too boozed up on your return.

We were in the corner outside in the bar for an hour or so whilst the Leeds fans in the other corner did their bit. It was notable that several patrons left as they got rowdier.

One person's "good time" can be another person's harrowing experience when it involves innocently walking along the street and being drunkenly howled at in a foreign language. It was really all quite embarrassing.

I can’t quite correlate why just because you’d travelled about 1,000 miles, you think your behaviour is acceptable / should be excused?!
With only 28 fans there, I would’ve thought the reverse was in fact true.

However, obviously I am in the minority and this kind of behaviour is normal these days.
I’m sure you would have seen the funny side if, for a few hours, a group of French fans had sung derogatory songs about you lot.
After all, it’s only banter.

now then.....I was one of the 28.......I am female and have to confess to being drunk.....shock horror.....mind I did not sing get yer tits out to anyone male or female........to be honest we were all very very happy drunk......and maybe would have been a bit annoying to sober folk but weren't any trouble....most folk seemed to be smiling at us......I even did some comedy falling over to entertain the locals......

we sang all game long too.....we were epic.....ha......and it must be true coz Sir Kev came and thanked us for being so loud and loyal before he climbed aboard the team coach taking them back to the airport.....


oh and I was stood next to the two lads with the Bates Out banner......
