Quote ="tvoc"The bit where Eddie (or some other random Sky RL presenter) pretends Clarkey is stood over by the stats wall as if it's a live link to another corner of the studio is still comedy gold.
Sadly the Boots 'N All format has run it's course, offers very little if anything these days and should be put out of it's misery. SL Fulltime, Supermen and Backchat have taken all it's content leaving only the stats section as it's unique selling point and that's a difficult sell. No matter how convinced Clarke is that having studied 700 games in depth to determine the KPIs, the margin metre (and it's demise) set their worth in context.'"
Yep. I think the other programmes have all improved, especially Supermen which is far better now Carney has relaxed a bit and it's included people from before super league. The only change I'd like to see is Fulltime changing the format a bit so it's more like Match of the Day, where the games are shown with a commentary, then back to the guests to discuss the game instead of talking over the top of the highlights. Plus a bit more analysis of incidents in each game like Tony Rea used to do would be welcome.
Other than that I'd do away with Boots n All and be quite pleased with the programmes on offer.
