Think he's doing a cracking job

Head coach is by far the most important appointment the CEO makes. Get it right and all the neccessary pieces for success have a chance of falling into place.

I said the same (as did many others) around this time last year and despite a miracle end to the campaign - and a miracle is what we witnessed at Warrington (a classic choke, that's what pressure can do to you in sport) I haven't had cause to change that view.

Someone said on here when McDermott turned and applauded the Southstand after the WCC win V Manly - how are we gonna get shut of this guy now - or words to that effect and I shivered at the prospect.... and not just because it was a cold night in February.

His record as a head coach is there for all to see, it's one of season on season decline - not only at London but also now at Leeds.

Wigan were superb and I wouldn't want to detract from their performance but Leeds were a shambles, IMO. God bless Eddie Hemmings for pretending there was a semblance of a contest going on but there simply wasn't. The turning point was the schoolboy knock-on from the kick-off, Leeds never featured after that.

I created a thread a month or so ago saying Mcdermott out but the mindless mods on here deleted it, But i am gonna say it again and again, He has got to go, last years title was a complete fluke and u can come back with all you like it was a fluke, There is no depth the is no creativity how do you go from such highs to such lows in so little time, Get rid of mcdermott and lowes that combination is like a Wrestling tag team rather than a professional rugby league teams coaching staff,
