But seriously...what type of rib injury is it that he was fine for the whole game Saturday but now knows he'll be out of contention for a game in 3 weeks time?

If it's a cracked rib, ok, (though I'm surprised he could freely play on with it) but if it's a strain or bruise then surely it would be healed in that time?

According to Evening Post he's been playing on with this injury for a few weeks.
Also Ablett had an operation for fractured cheekbone which happened at the Huddersfield match.

I thought the issue with the injury was that he is having surgery in the off season
