I can't understand why anyone would want to leave Webb out when he has arguably been our most creative player this year. According to the Opta stats he has 5 tries and 15 assists this year from 18 games. This compares to Sinfield (1 try and 17 assists from 22 games), Burrow (6 tries and 3 assists from 21 games), McGuire (4 tries and 3 assists from 9 games).

Leuleuai, Lauititi, Kirke, McGuire - although I wouldn't be too disapponinted to see Pitts for Kirke

Well at least our RH side selection did it's job on Yeaman ,Manu and Briscoe whilst also getting a couple of good scores.

We'd have done even better with Hardaker (wing), BJB (centre) and Delaney (SR)....



....Unless of course you think Hauraki is more deserving of his selection ahead of Hardaker.

(Actually he looking a little better these days, but my main point remains Hardaker did not deserve to be dropped.)

Would you still have picked Webb? Ok so he got a pass out for a well worked try, but his poor defence and positioning is letting the side down! Kyle managed to run further than him! I'll admit that his second half performance was much better, but I'd prefer a little more consistancy at full back.

Some of the tackling in the first half from webb was very poor, even for Webb
