You also forget the oft-forgotten overground line between Marylebone - Wembley Stadium
The thing about the Jubilee Line is that you can take it to Wembley Park by all means, but it stops at three times as many stations as does the Metropolitan over the same stretch of track. It is often the case that later departing Metropolitan trains overtake Jubilee Line trains between central London and Wembley Park.
