I met a few Wigan fans yesterday . The ones in the ground and the ones in the Skyrack were top of the range . Decent people that had had a decent (if wet) day out and were rightly disappointed that their team had lost . A bit of banter from both sides , and shaken hands and hugs at home time .
I can't say the same about the scum we encountered in the ginnel behind the West Terrace though after the game .
I jumped in the middle of it all and had just about got things calmed down when some scum fk in a pies shirt decided to have a kick or two at the back of my knee . One kick was so hard that it resulted in a 12" tear in my tracky bottoms and quite severe damage to my leg .
I was in the middle calming things because there were kids and women walking in both directions at the scene . It ain't the first time that I have been peace-maker . It is definitely the last though . I was almost tempted to drop the scrote that kicked me , but it wouldn't have helped the situation .
I kind of expect that kind of behaviour from Hull fans , but not from Wigan .
I wouldnt mind so much , but they are Rhinos ones . Might have to get them repaired and customised . Might as well send them with the hankie hats and get them embroidered at same time . A big amber 'CHAV' over the tear
