theres only one way of determining the team of the year and thats happening on saturday. Any other measure is meaningless rubbish.
The MOS has become a bit of a joke allowing players to let personal differences and animosity get in the way of measuring the stand out player of any given season. It should be back in the hands of the media who in theory at least are impartial. Better still why not have a fans vote for MOS from a shortlist selected by a RL writers panel. If this was done by text or phone vote it could be a great means of raising revenue for the benevolent fund or similar. Whilst this runs the risk of favouring the bigger supported clubs I think most RL fans would be capable of selcting fairly from a shortlist of 5-10 players.
