I understand Gareth Ellis was voted Wests Tigers player of the year this season. A fantastic accolade for him personally and encouraging for the English game.

Having missed most of the NRL this year thanks to Setanta's rubbishness, how does he seem to have taken to the NRL? Has it been a breeze to him and is he a stand out performer? We all know how good he was over here, but is he now a small fish in a big pond or another leading player?

From the games I have seen him in (not loads) he seems to be doing well in the NRL.

Apparantly he's defended well but looked clueless in attack in a horrific team. Not that I've watched any more than one NRL game this season.

Anyway his stats tell the opposite story to what Saddened has said. He was the leading Metre maker in the Wests team but missed a hell of a lot of tackles.
