Mystery fake shirt unravelled:

Apparently my mates ‘fake’ red shirt was the mock up version that Bulldog Sports presented to Leeds RLFC before they when on to produce a full run.

They only made one of these so does that make it uber-rare?

Undoubtably there will be a shirt-geek somewhere that will pay a years wage to own one and then spend for ever telling anyone stupid enough to listen that its worth a fortune, only to find when he comes to sell it that its not worth a fortune just because he paid a fortune for it, indeed, its worthless unless he can find someone even more stupid than himself to buy it.


Its a bit like those people who go to sportsmans dinners, get tanked up and pay a couple of grand for a framed shirt, then tell everyone its worth a couple of grand, no, it cost you a couple of grand because you were so p[iiss[/ied that you kept putting your hand up and bidding against yourself.

A number of your players seem to wear long sleeve shirts in the 'cold' months. There must be loads knocking around.

You can buy them from the club shop if you know the right people apparently so I imagine so.

Mind you, I did sell it on ebay for £150 profit a couple of years later.
